Model Number: UACC-036JAS The unit works fine. The problem is it doesn't shut down after the specified temperature has been reached. The furnace blower shuts down, but the ac unit keeps on running....

Hello, usually a stuck contactor coil will cause this on the outside unit. When the outdoor unit runs continously and the indoor blower does not run no heat is being absoebed by the evaporator coil and thus the line freezes. Replaceing the contactor will fix the problem.

Central air unit, outside unit fan runs, but not cooling. Compressor seems to turn on/off continously. Buzzing sound interminately.

Sounds as though the contactors are not pulling in tight. shut down the poer to the unit and check the contactor. you will find them behind a panel door on the outside unit.. BE CERTIAN that you have disconnect the power ot the unit . the contactors will have wires running to the compressor. you might not be able to see the pints on the contators. but you can remove the cover and take a look. you can ppush them in and let them move back a forth a bit . put it back toghter and turn it on. If you still hear the noise you will have to repalce the contactors . also the same applies for th outdoor fan as well. Good luck and let me know.. I really hope this helps Jon

My Rudd air conditioner fan is running continuously.

Hello, if the outdoor unit is running continously then the contactor coil is stuck and msut be replaced. If the indoor fan is running then most likey the relay on the control board is stuck and the whole board will need to be replaced.
