Just bought a house with a Gibraltar SCR stove in it. I want to use this thing, but have never owned a stove and don't know how. What fuel? How to set the fuel in the stove, etc. Can you help?

Gibraltar makes coal, pellet and wood stoves. Stoves that burn wood pellets have a hopper and feeder auger that feeds pellets into the burning chamber. They also require electricity to work. From what I read online you should be able to burn wood in the stove but I believe the coal stoves have a smaller burning chamber.

I have a new Buck STove Hybrid (coal and wood). The brick liners in the ceiling are loose and frequently are dislodged when feeding wood. Why is it designed this way.

I would suggest contacting the manufacturer at this link in order to get an answer to your question. Each stove manufacturer has their own way lining the stoves. Make sure you have your model number and serial number of your specific stove prior to calling the manufacturer so they can give you an informed answer. Good luck.

How do I use the stove. We bought a house with a anthrasite stove, but we do not have an idea how to start it

Not sure which model you have, Reading Stove Co makes the anthracite model. Here's a link to their website Click on the Coal Stove Safety Tips tab and look for your model under Owners Manuals.

I hope all of this will be helpful to you.

After installing the pellet stove, the stove seems to 'burn up" the pellets to fast not creating a "coal bed ',no real heat is going in the house. It is a breckwell big E mod. 55'000 btu...

Not sure what is happening but if the pellets are burning too fast that tells me you have to set the air flow while they are burning. Even a wood stove will burn to fast if there is too much air . There should be a setting for the air flow on all stoves and some times it should be almost closed. if it continues i would contact the stove seller and ask them.
