Question about Kenwood Car Audio & Video
KENWOOD MUSIC SYSTEM --- CASSETTE PLAYER IS PLAYING BUT CD PLAYER IS NOT PLAYING . DISC IS NOT THERE IS THE MSG THAT COMES .NEED SOMEBODYS ASSISTANCE
I would assume since it has a cassette player the deck itself is quite old. You can try to buy a CD laser cleaning kit, its essentially a CD with different brushes on them, they were more popular in the 90's and early 00's though so you may have to order them online, or BestBuy sells them for sure. Honestly I feel the kit could be a waste of money, but it may be worth a shot depending on how desperate you are to keep the same radio. If the radio is old, the most likely problem is the laser stopped reading, meaning you need a new radio.Good Luck!
