Count down timer

Do a hard reset, turn camera off, take out battery's and sd card out. once you have everything out push your on/off button for about 5 sec. then put only battery's back it should say no card. Once it says that put sandisk sdhc nothing higher than a class 4 sd card, which is the speed of card not the size. If still not working call Moultire 8006533334 option 1 and 1 again for a live person to help you.

What does it mean when the LCD says full but the SD card is empty.

I just fixed this problem on my new A-5. I had to take out the SD card, put it in my card reader and reformat the card on my computer. I just put it back in my A-5 trail camera and now it works and is counting down like it's supposed to.

My Camera won't take pictures... Up in the diplay a F- - keeps blinking.... and my shutter won't click... When the shutter is pushed down it says r 10...My battery is charged and I have room on my...

Have you changed lens? F-- blinking usually means that a non-CPU
lens is attached to camera. Try changeing camera mode to Manual and see what happens. Take Camera to Photo store and try another lens(CPU may have gone out).

The orange light keeps flashing

FLASHING ORANGE LIGHT ERROR MESSAGES

Try counting the number of orange flashes.
* two flashes means you’re out of paper or the paper is not feeding correctly.
* three flashes means there is a paper Jam or the output tray is closed.
* four flashes means the ink tank is empty
* five flashes means the print head is not installed correctly or not installed or is defective (before buying a new print head always try the cleaning instructions at the end of this post first.)
* six flashes means the inner cover is open or not closed properly.
* seven flashes means you counted wrong.....
* eight flashes means the waste ink absorber is almost full or full.
* nine flashes mean that a digital camera or video that is connected is not compatible with the printer. If a specific amount of time lapses without getting a response from the digital camera or video camcorder this will happen.
* ten flashes means it can not print to both sides of the page
* eleven flashes means the automatic print head alignment failed. (this can be caused by low ink levels, ink tanks not being installed correctly, the print heads being clogged. It can also be caused by the paper output slot being exposed to a strong light source (Press the resume /cancel button and move the printer to a darker location and try to align the print head again.
* check to make sure the lock lever is correctly positioned (down)
If the above does not work, align the print head manually by opening the printer properties dialog box and clicking the maintenance tab and then select the print heal alignment button on the left side, second row down.

What is the most likely reason for my Powershot G10 shooting at only 180ppi? Thanks.

You have it set to RAW for TIFF
First of all, I am assuming that when you say ppi you mean Pixels per
inch. If you take 2272 and divide that by picture size of 10", you
will be printing at about 227 ppi. PPI has to do with the printed
size. When printing in Photo shop, go to Image Size. Uncheck
"constrain proportions", and "resample image". When you enter the doc
size you will see the ppi it will print at.

ppi is not an intrinsic property of a digicam image. All cameras
output a default image size (where??--in the EXIF data?). which then
sets a ppi value.

What counts going in to Photoshop is the filesize in pixels. You can
set any print size you want.

I generally print at 250 - 300 ppi, but you can get pretty good
results down to 150. Upsampling will smooth out jaggies but will not
increase resolution.

AD Reading

That's exactly what AD means. Since it isn't on timed dry, it just does its thing until the sensor recognizes the lack of moisture. Then the count-down comes back on.

I reminds me of how kids say they can count to 100 really quickly: one, two, skip a few, 99, 100!

Count down on memory card

Hi!
The K100D's lcd read-out is limited to displaying 999 as its maximum. This means that the card is capable of storing 999+ pictures. Once it gets to a point that the card can only store 999 pictures or less, then it will begin to count down.
Hope this helps!

On the top screen where it says the amount of shots left for a sequence, it says FL

FL means that the full amount of space on the card is available...it doesn't give you an amount like say the d70 which says you have , say, 1.1K available of space...the d21x goes in reverse and starts counting how many pics you have taken...the FL becomes a number at 99 and goes down from there depending on how many pics you take.So you then end up with a number on top instead of FL and a number below indicating how many pics you have taken.

Hope this helps.

F--

Unlike other cameras that start at frame #1 after loading and count up as the film is used, the N55 advance the film to the last frame during the loading process. When loading is complete, the frame counter stops at the number of available frames on the roll (usually 24 or 36) and counts down as photos are taken. I know it sounds backwards but it actually makes a lot of sense to engineer it this way. After the last photo is taken (displays 1 on the counter), the camera automatically winds the end of the film into the cassette and the counter shows a blinking E. I am assuming that that is what is being displayed and not a blinking F. it it is an F, perhaps there is a problem with the LCD display? If so, it probably isn't worth having it repaired.
