Can this be connected to the aux port of a car radio? how via USB or ear bud jsck?

Usually If the car has an existing audio jack port you should be able to use an audio cord that has a male audio jack on both ends and it should work. Just make sure your on the right output selection on the car stereo. (Such as aux, cd, tuner,)

What type of accessory do I need to use my walkman in my pontiac vibe. it does not have a usb port

You need a stereo cable (male to male 2 EP cable) this will connect to your Sony player on one end and the other end should connect to the Car Audio ( you did not specify the CAR audio make and model) hence i am assuming that you might have a stereo input connector.

If its not there and you have a cassette player in your car audio then you have to use a car cassette adapter

Digital Optical port to 8-pin din

Optical digital cables can't be magically wired to copper inputs. NO digital signal can be magically connected to an analog interface and work.

Even if you could do what you propose, how would you control volume?

Why don't you just connect the BluRay to the JVC system and let IT handle the audio to the sub and satellites?

Run an optical cable to the JVC TH-C60's Optical In port. Make sure there are no tight bends in the optical cable as that will degrade its ability to transmit a signal.

Someone gave me a DVD 825/173 player. I need to

if you are intrested in a "simple" hook up, all you need are the Yellow, White, And Red Ports.
Yellow = Video
Red = Right chanel Audio
White = Left chanel Audio and Mono Audio

Most Newer TV's have these basic inputs

S-video is for a "higher quality" video, that is a rather un-noticable dated technology.

And The Co-Ax Audio is for a Single cable connection to an Audio System for Digital Surround Sound.

Useing the ports specified above(Yellow, Red and White) you should be up and running in no time!

My marantz DV 9500 doesnt output digital signal for audio cd anymore but outputs audio for dvd,sacd,dvd audio. Does it need servicing

Make sure your playing componet like CD player have a digital output socket. Connect this to a digital port on the amp witk a single RCA or Optical cable if output available on CD. Make sure the digital assingment in amp is set for cd function and corresponding input(example cd plyer connected on dig 4 input on amp, press menu, setup, assignment, go to cd player, make sure setting on dig 4 or change input to dig 4, go to next component to memorise setting.and exit, see manual to assist you) if still no sound take dvd cable for instance that is working and put that in dig 4 port. if that works check in cd player that settings spdif/raw/pcm is correct one for yor digital output if still no sound soun pc board faulty.

Help me out

Connect the little end of the USB cable to the top of the unit. If you are looking at the face of the unit, the port for the cable will be on the right. Then connect the big end of the USB cable to your USB port on your PC.

No Audio

What port do you have the HDMI from you BD player into on the 510. If you have it on the DVD port then fiber optic will do you no good, the DVD HDMI only supports digital coax, the Video2 HDMI only accepts fiber optic, and there is an extra fiber optic for the Sat input. If your BD player does not have digital coax out, or if you dont want to buy another cable, just move the HDMI from DVD to Video2 on the 510. I am willing to bet you have the BD player plugged into the DVD HDMI port and the fiber optic cable from you BD player to the Video2 fiber input.
