Question about Televison & Video
First you have to connect your source of channels to the television via a receiver, whether satellite or cable, or 'free to air'. Then you instruct your television to scan for all of the channels. Then after that, you can either choose (say) channel 1432 on the remote, or scan upwards from channel 1000, or set it as a favourite.
It sounds to me that you have nothing connected to the television, or the supplier of the signal (the receiver) is switched off :>)
