The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Region 1 only DVD player

First of all, stop buying this trash. When people stop rewarding companies for creating restricted garbage DRM will die. Our XV-S300 was stolen recently, but this works for the XV-S500, and maybe the 300 as well:

1. Remove the disc
2. Close the door
3. Press 0 then ENTER on the remote control (RM-SXV008J)
(The player will display the PREVIOUS region setting
then will set itself to what you told it.)
(With the player OFF press 0 then ENTER on the remote)
From the website:

With the player off, just enter the region number you want and hit
After a few seconds, you're ready to go.

The problem, ended up being the DVD drive motor. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth finding a replacement motor.

SOURCE: Unlock code for jvc XV-N652

Below is the only known process to unlock that model of DVD player. Does not work on 100% of dvd players.

1. Turn on dvd player
2. Open the tray
3. Press 0000 in the Remote Controller
4. Change to any region you want (0 for region free)
5. Press Pause to confirm your change
6. Turn off
7. Turn on again and enjoy

Hope this works for yours, please post back if it does. Thank you for trying Fixya!

How can I programe my DVD Player xv-s332 so that it plays all zones

Have no dvd or cd in the player

step 1.unplug the dvd player
Plug player back in while holding the Open/Close and play buttons on the player
The word TEST and a number should come up on the player Display

Step 2.Press 9 on the remote until the display on the player says 00A0 0000 it should take 40seconds of pressing 9 to get to 00A0 0000 as I think its the last code in the sequence.

step3.Press Standby/on on the remote or player
Wait 15 seconds
Turn player back on.

Let me know if it works.

What channel do I put the TV on for this type of DVD player.

Not channel need to go to the input that you plugged into the tv. On the remote should have a button labeled input, source, or tv/video. Turn on the player. Next run through the different inputs to find the dvd player. Hope this helps.

    Stuck on Standby

Do a hard reset. Unplug it from the socket, the DVD and leave disconnected for 4 hours. This may or may not help, but it is a necessary step to restore all internal software codes to their factory settings.

    Hope this may help;
