Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry, this forum is not able to supply any type of manual, installation instructions, electrical or schematic diagrams direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

You have an internal pump which is not accessible without uninstalling the appliance, however instead of using drain block have you tried a proper appliance cleaner and cleaning the connection under the sink as this is where most smells come from and not the machine themselves

Sounds like the drain hose is partially plugged restricting the water to completely pump out.

I have an LG washer dryer combo model No. wd-1481rd, it will not drain on the display panel it has "OE" diplayed when put onto drain cycle i have tried to go through complete other cycles and...

Check for clogged/kinked drain hose then open the small door at the lower left of the machine. Located behind the small door is the drain filter and the emergency drain hose. Remove the drain plug and drain the water into a container that's enough to hold such. You may need to drain the water by gravity by placing the drain hose (main) over a container. Position the container as low as possible to extract as much water. Once fully drained, remove the drain filter by turning the knob counterclockwise. Place a piece of the towel under the filter to catch residual water. Clean the filter and try to reach in the pump impeller and check it for restriction or damage. Replace the drain pump if the impeller is damaged or restricted and cannot be freed, or if it just whirs but water doesn't drain.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
(no promises but try this!)

I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Following are my complete and generic guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.

It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

The clean filter light is on, where is the filter on the Whirlpool AWD3571

There is a little door set in the botton right of the front of the machine. Flip the door open, the filter is behind it (It unscrews).

Can't recall if this model has a little drain pipe that you pull out do drain off any dregs of water in the filter. If it doesn't, I usually pull the machine out from the wall and tip it back a little so the water in the filter doesn't pour out when I unscrew it. HEAVY MACHINE, if you are going to tip it backwards, have someone help you do this!

How do I change or clean the filter on my Lamona 8362 dishwasher ? I do not appear to have been given a user manual Thanks

  • 1 Wait until the dishwasher has completely cooled after use before attempting to clean the filter. Turn the dishwasher off and unplug it from the power supply.

  • 2 Remove the lower dish racks and locate the filter compartment on the bottom of the dishwasher.
  • 3 Unscrew the filter housing and gently pull to lift out the filter.
  • 4 Use a few drops of dishwashing liquid, warm water and a soft-bristled brush to clean the filter and the filter housing.
  • 5 Dry the filter and the housing and reassemble them. Reposition them in the bottom of the dishwasher and turn until locked into place. Replace the racks and close the dishwasher door. Plug back in to the local power supply.
