Question about Vivitek V37835 46 in. LCD Television
I have a 56" model that I have had a similar problem. My bulb burned out in <90 days. Warranty was 90 days on the bulb itself. When the TV picture goes out, the indicator LEDS blink on and off.
Here is what you have to determine:
1) First cover the left LED with a piece of paper so that you can't see it blinking. I don't know if your layout is the same as my TV. You may have to switch the paper blocking the LED.
2) Pay attention to the other LED and READ its' flashing code. In my case, the code was 2-3. It would flash 2 times, pause briefly, then flash 3 times. This meant code 23. That indicated the bulb was burned out.
3) If you look in the manual, It does have a code list of some sorts to tell you of the codes and their meanings. Hope this helps.

Yes, I have a 56" vivtek tv that would shut off and give me the flashing light codes. And replaced the bulb, now the tv works fine. The bulb only had 3000 hours when it went out. But the tech said the first bulb goes out sooner then the 2nd or the 3rd bulb.
