Question about Electrical Supplies

1 Answer

I looked at a lot of ideas on LE code for the LG dishwasher. None solved my problem. Most said to turn power off for a few minutes, reset. Others said replace the whole re circulation module.

But i took the pump housing apart and found a piece of bent metal that jammed the garbage cutter blade. Removed it, reassembled the washer, and it works fine. I thought your readers would like to see this.

I got the 'LE' error code for the LG LDF6810ST dishwasher. The serial number is 604KW02152. I removed the door cover as some of the other solutions suggested, but the wires looked fine. I was...

This error can sometimes present because of a miscommunication between the control panel and the wash motor. In this instance, the washer simply needs to be reset.

Step 1: Unplug the washing machine.
Step 2: While the washer remains unplugged, press and hold the [Start/Pause] button on the front panel for 5 seconds.
Step 3: Plug the unit back in, and run a rinse and spin cycle to test if the LE code is cleared.

Are there soap suds visible in the drum?
Over-sudsing is the main cause of LE error codes. Using non-HE (high efficiency) detergents or too much detergent will cause stress on the motor. In addition, detergent residue can also cause leaking and odor. Follow these steps to resolved an LE error code caused by over-sudsing.

Step 1: Unplug the washer and allow the unit to sit for 30 minutes to give the suds time to dissolve.
Step 2: Plug the washer back in and press [Power] to turn on the washer.
Step 3: Do not choose a washing cycle. Press the [Spin Speed] key until "No Spin" is selected.
Step 4: Press [Start/Pause] to begin a drain only cycle.
Step 5: After the drain only cycle has completed, remove the clothing items from the machine. Turn the power back on and select [Rinse and Spin] and then press [Start/Pause]. This will remove excess soap suds and light residue from the drum. Repeat this step until no visible suds are in the drum of the washer.

Hope this helps.

The code LE shows up on the dishwasher and then the cycle stops

Is it an LG. LE is usually a motor code. Enter your model # and code in a search to see specifics. this should give you a good idea as to what you are looking at. Possible problem from your description are motor, control or harness.

Try unplugging the unit for a few minutes. Then plug back in. If not try the Power button. I have an SE code (drainage problem) and my machine stops running altogether.

Lg dishwasher showing error code LE how do I fix it already checked for loose wires

Hi,

Try - Disconnect the Power Supply. Wait for 30 Minutes. Again Turn ON the Dishwasher. Is that Fixed the Problem.

If not, i am afraid friend, you need to replace the Wash Motor.

LE usually Refers to Motor Locked Up. Replace Wash Motor.

I have seen many of the Dishwasher gone Bad within Few Months.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

LE error

The first thing to check with an LE error on an LG LDFxxxx dishwasher is the drain hose. Start at the point where the drain hose connects to the drain pipe or garbage disposal. Make certain that the hose rises as high as it can. That will form a high point that will prevent the natural siphon effect from draining the water before it should.

Please report back here with what you find. OK?

Good Luck!

Hi there I have a silver LG dishwasher..I am intermittentleey getting the Code PE. I have take the pump off the exit water pipe and chaeck for blockages etc... there are none. Any ideas?

Please confirm the model number of this LG diswasher.
On recent LG units, the avaiable error codes are: IE OE E1 FE tE LE
The PE code is abnormal. Can you confirm.
I would expect to see the error OE if water is not fully pumped out. Remove the filter from the sump area beneath the bottom rack. Look closely for debris causing a blockage/lock. Please get back to me with your findings and ask more questions as needed.
