Question about RCA Televison & Video
It's done this before and eventually came back on but I think something definitely needs fixed now! Its an 52" RCA HD LED LCD Full HDTV. We hit the power button, and the standby light goes off....but the screen doesn't come on. Model #LED52B45RQ

the most common component to fail with that sympton is the flyback. If the chassis is a ITC222A the flyback will be 259296 or 265409 as they were both used in that chassis and model number. If you need more assistance let me know the Chassis number from the tag in the back.

These units are famous for bad capacitors in the power supply. When the capacitors go it causes voltages to fluctuate out of range. You have to remove the deflection PCB to repair this. Also look for loose connections at the high voltage transformer. This can be a dangerous circuit to work on. Have a repair shop check it out for you. Thanks
