Unless you can borrow an external CD drive with a USB connector, you would need to contact Microsoft and give them your Office 2003 key and they may allow you to download a copy.
Actually, it might be worth it to purchase an external CD drive. I've seen them priced from $20 - $100.
Go check your BIOS to make sure the cd rom drive is recognized by the system first, as if it is not, you will not be able to use it.
If the cd drive is removable, try removing it and reinstalling it first.
If the drive is recognized press the F12 key to get into the boot selection and choose CD Boot.

you have to open the lap top and check the power supply cable, if it is loose.if your are not familiar with open the cashing of the lap top then ask some professional to help you.
1. system restore your laptop back to a date right before it stopped working.
2. take the cd drive out and then put it back in, then restart.
3. update new drivers for the cd drive
4. ensure your device is "enabled" under your hardware setting within control panel.
