How do I close tabs on this phone

Dear Nancy,
  • Bring the Tabs to be closed on the screen,
  • Look on the upper left side, you will see the number of tabs opened inside a square.
  • With your index finger Tap on that little square with the number(s) inside it.
  • All of the opened tabs will move down leaving a black margin on the top of the screen.
  • You will see an X at in the the Right.
  • Keep on tapping on the X until you close all of the Tabs.
  • Notice that the number inside the square will be counting down every time you close a Tab.
  • After the last tab is closed, you will see a + sign inside a square on the Left of the screen.
  • You must Tap on that + square to open a new tab.
  • You can also message me directly in the Comments Box if you need more help.
Good Luck
JP

Experia x10 looses battery charge so quickly it lasts less than half a day now. Was fine until I connected to internet and wifi.

All phones use more energy when connected to WiFi.
In order to preserve battery life, shut down your WiFi unless you need it.
Find Settings>Wireless and Networks , and uncheck the WiFi box.

Lost communication with base unit. I'm following instructions in manual to re-register but it keeps comming up error

Some Panasonic cordless phones come with up to five handsets each will need to be properly adjusted. You may need to set the main handset to synchronize with the base unit plugged into the telephone wall jack and assign special configuration numbers to the other handsets in order to properly identify each one within a specified location. One handset left in the turned on mode may make it impossible to place calls with the any of the other handsets. This will continue until either the battery dies or fails on the handset or the phone is switched off and replaced in its charger for charging again. Synchronize the main handset by pressing the MENU button on the handset, then pressing the down button IN order to select the number you wish to assign to that handset. Repeating this process if you have already done so will greatly decrease the level of errors experienced with panasonic phones MORE USEFUL INFORMATION FOR ALL YOUR ELECTRONICS When troubleshooting these units, there are always several variables to consider. First check to see what last occurred with the unit such as did the children play video games, did the electricity go out due to bad weather. You may see that there are many possibilities but let's focus on what occurred last to the unit. Once we determine what happened last, we may isolate the actual cause of the problem. The actual cause may be associated with projection issues, older versions (Picture tube), interference from devices located nearby, and even a radio turned on and located really close to your unit. This is normally known as electromagnetic interference to electronics and is very common with the error you have provided today. Please continue to look for anything EXTERNAL to the unit before looking at the internal components. I have been working on these a long time so feel free to follow up with me.

For some reason my Operator's Phone lost it's programmed settings - and i need to get the night key setup, anyone know how to do this?

What you need to do on the 24 button phone is reprogramme the soft keys again, to check what they are currently set as, dial 'Transfer 107' use your volume key to scroll down each entry. You then need to progamme 1 of the keys to be 'RTO' another to be 'RP1' and lastly 'RP2' ( RP stands for Ring Plan), In order to carry out the programming it would be easier for me to send you a link to one of our videos on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZklhmzvvDw&feature=related . To action night service press RTO and select 1 for Day , 2 for NIGHT.
