Turn of all power immediately...!1

As you can tell from the news...
people can be
SERIOUSLY hurt by batteries
as small as cell-phone batteries.

Batter handling is ALWAYS DANGEROUS...
Turn of all power immediately.

Red
is POSITIVE
AND ... BLACK is Negative... Always!!

Check your polarity...
and make sure power is off when doing so...

BATTERY CIRCUIT can be quite dangerous... EXPLOSIVE.
Protective clothes, gloves & eye protection are STANDARD

You want to make sure you have a clear path to lots of FRESH WATER ... and ACID neutralizing agents near-by
(like: BAKING SODA... )

And YOU can perform WELL under excruciating pain...
IN a crisis situation... probably MOSTLY blind & disoriented.
(Professionals ROUTINELY have emergency practice drills).

Close supervision is BEST.

I'm JUST SAYING.

The only lever is the 1 in the back then is in the back position, keeps scooter still. Pushed reset button, nothing happens. It still beeps 5 times, it is a pride go go ultra x 3 wheel, please help

Hi, 5 bleeps implies the issue is related to the brake, check the little micro-switch situated on the side of the brake unit , this can stick fooling the scooter into thinking it still in freewheel mode...

if the rear disconnects away from the frame , check the connection here as well.

Rob.

When I want to get scooter to go, it just beeps.

2 beeps=too low battery voltage
3 beeps=battery voltage too high
5 beeps=solenoid brake trip or free wheel mode
remove key then push then push the manual release lever in completely
6 beeps=throttle trip
throttle control lever may have been depressed while
inserting key so release control lever completely
7 beeps=throttle trip
throttle potentiometer fault or speed potentiometer fault

Cant get batteries to charge

hi, you could have blown the fuse contained with the battery unit ?
If you have a electrical meter put the probes into the two outside holes of the charger socket, do not let them touch and check the DC here. No voltage shown then take the battery unit apart to locate the fuse. and check the leads have not come off the batteries.

Take care with dis assembly.

2002 Yamaha XN Teos 125 will not turn over

Hi, David before testing any electrical component in the Starting Circuit it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead-acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter motor or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. Faulty ignition relay.
14. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
15. Check for engine trouble codes.

Kathryn Was the scooter working when she bought it? If the batteries were fully charged and now it won't charge then I would suspect the charger. If the scooter wasn't charged when she got it and won't charge then I would replace the batteries Hope this helps
