Question about Relic Watches
I don't understand why there are so many "what battery for my watch" questions.
If you're asking the question, then it's a fair assumption that you intend to change the battery yourself. But then, if you're going to get the back off the watch to do that, you'll find out what sort of battery is in there anyway.
Assuming that you have all the necessary skills to replace the battery without trashing the watch, you don't need to ask the question in the first place.
If you don't have the necessary skills, take it to a local watch shop or jewellers, and get a professional job done for not a lot of money - buying a replacement watch is a lot more expensive!
Apologies to anyone who's bought a used watch only to find it has no battery in it, but the solution is the same - take it to a jewellers and let them figure out what battery it takes. If they damage the watch you've got recompense, if you damage the watch then you've got expense.

BEST WAY: Open it & look.
I have several watches... and the AWI conversion books... The only SURE way to tell your battery size is to OPEN the watch...
USE ONLY QUALITY TOOLS (Jaxa type 3 prong)...!!
Unlike the PROFESSIONAL battery folks... MY watches sustain a LOT LESS DAMAGE that way.
I write all my battery sizes in my contact file NOTES
(because you will never remember)...
and after only a couple of changes you have saved the price of EVERY TOOL YOU CAN EVER USE (See below).
A couple of "professional" battery changes on my
beautiful Movato VIZIOs (Battery 394)... and they
looked like a dog's chew toy.
You will be proud...
(or at least RUIN your watch yourself (for free))
