â If the status light blinks orange when you press a button, the iPod shuffle buttons are
disabled. Press and hold Play/Pause (’) for about three seconds, until the status light
blinks green.
â Connect iPod shuffle to a high-power USB port on your computer. Your iPod shuffle
battery may need to be recharged.
â Turn iPod shuffle off, wait five seconds, and then turn it on again.
â You may need to restore iPod shuffle software. See “Updating and Restoring

Check to find where power goes in, and look at the voltage. Look around your house for extra cords that have this voltage. If you can't find any, look online like eBay for a cord for it.

I bought I Home keyboard IH-K231MS today and I don't have a MAC will it work with HP computer or any other computer ?.

Don't know for sure, but the special keys need a driver you have to install (which is written for an Apple machie, so probably won't work. The normal key may work, but you might have to ID the keyboard. If you can connect an iPod to a PC via a USB cable to sync it (have never used a pc so don't know if that's possible), the PC may be able to see the iPod.
All in all, maybe.

After using the ihome system, model# iH70S, the ipod was taken from the power source. After dying completely and being slightly recharged, I noticed it was reset to default memory. No one deleted it, how...

The ipod should not have lost its music due to low battery as it shuts down before that happens. I'm guessing you already tried fully recharging and re-syncing the ipod to your library and you're good to go again, but now you're wondering why you lost the music to begin with. I bought two of these iH70S units and love them, but one just quit on me. It won't charge, none of the buttons do anything and the green "sync" LED on top stays on all the time. I took it apart and desoldered the sync button from the circuit board thinking that maybe the switch failed closed and since I never used the sync feature I could just remove it. No such luck - the switch was fine. Must be some component failure in the circuit board. This does not sound exactly like what happened in your case, but maybe there's a defect in the sync circuit that (for me) makes the unit think the sync button is always pressed or (for you) syncs your ipod to whatever is connected, which is nothing, causing your memory to sync to nothing, i.e. reset. Not a solution per se, but take it for what it's worth. I'm going to look around for spare parts for my unit...good luck!
