If it is a Sky extended warranty, leave the last part of the address out, (don't type the six month bit) and there is a three month option.
I would complain to Tesco.com They sold it!

There is a certain amount of literature supplied in the packaging when a new appliance is purchased and among that literature there should be an addressed postcard for the purpose of registering the appliance and instructions of how to do so which these days will probably include how to register online if you want to.
