My ipod nano chromatic wont respond!

Hey my ipod the new nano chromatic wont respond to my fingure when I move it on the sensor =\. The buttons wont click either when I press them..The shuffle works if i shake it though but i cant control the volume on it. Ive tryed the restart ( Menu + center buttons) But it just goes back to the main menue n doesnt work =\...It works on my dock station though....I dont know whats wrong with it.....my ipods a 16 gig and I got it at toys R us for like 200$ and I need it to work soon before I leave for bandcamp....HELPP PLEASEEE

Apple Ipod Nano Chromatic Frozen on black screen.

Try reseting it, It worked for me. Hold down the "Menu" button and the middle button for about 7-8 seconds.

My ipod nano chromatic froze, i went to play a video and the screen went black, and now i cant do anything, I tried to shut it off, and i also tried to plug it into the computer. but it wont do anything.

Try resetting it, toggle the hold button on the top of the ipod on then off, then hold the middle and menu button at the same time for a few seconds.

My i-pod nano chromatic 8 GB is stuck!:S

Press and hold the Menu and Centre buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears. (This usually takes between 5 and 10 seconds.)

Charging or plugging in my Ipod chromatic

i have the SAME problem but i bought mine 5 days ago so its suppsd to be brand new!! ='[ *sob* it just got 'stuck' all of a sudden and wont respond to anything! :S

My new ipod nano chromatic just wont switch on, even when putting it on the charger it still doesnt switch on. What can i do?

okay that happened to me.

and this worked:

1. switch hold on
2. switch hold off
3. hold down the menu button and the center button for 6-10 seconds and it should turn on.

thats resetting your ipod and that DOESNT delete songs photos, etc.
