Fridge freezing up

Check the fridge sensor. On my Hoover HNMF2805AL80 f/f, first I replaced control module - still freezing.
Have just replaced cheap fridge temperature sensor. Part No. 97061619. Trouble is you have to cut into insulation at back of fridge to replace. I just plugged in sensor & placed inside fridge at back at the bottom - so far so good, only lettuce freezing now, everything else v. cold but not frozen. :)

39 ltr engle fridge freezer wont shut off when at temp

hi,

the temp should be around 35-40 in the fresh side and below freezing in the freezer. If the probe is positioned wrong then it may not shut off. Does the probe need to be in the freezer compartment? If the freon level is wrong then the freezer may not get cold enough to shut down the control tstat. The low side pressure should be around 5 PSI.

Cooler coil freezing up

Way too many thing's can cause such problem's. Most important with bottle coolers are clean condensor, good condensor ventilation, do not overstock and block evaporator circulation. Then you get to component failures, failed thermostat or improperly positioned sensing element, failed evaporator fan, icing of the evaporator section from fan or gas charge problems, contamination in gas curcuit causing cap tube blockage, compressor overheat shut downs from real or defective component issue's. Trouble-shooting is a plan for cause elimination, start with the simple end and move out from there?

White westinghouse dehumidifier freezing up

hopefully its not the coolant pump seizing. the only simple thing that goes wrong with those is the water full switch, which turns off every thing. try playing with the float thing in the tank, you shoud here clicking of the switch on and off

Freezer compartment of refrigerator not freezing

First, I think it’s important to know that the Ref side has no cooling coils, it’s basically a box and the cold air in the freezer is blown over by a fan through a channel into the Ref side. This channel has a door which regulates how much cold air goes through. You probably have two control knobs in the Ref side, one controls the temp with numbers 1-9, 9 being the coldest. This temp control tells the compressor how long to run. The other control is for that little door and it may have letters A-E, E being the coldest. If you set it on E (coldest) then this will close that little door and keep most the cold air in the freezer.
So, how can the Ref side be cold and the freezer side not freezing?

1. Coolant leak. There is enough coolant to keep the Ref side cool but not enough to freeze on the freezer side.

2. Defrost system failure. The coils on the freezer side are clogged with ice and it's just a matter of time when the Ref side won't cool either. The back wall in the freezer will be covered with ice/frost
