Water will fill but wont do anything else

Does the water turn off when filled? If so can hear a motor humming or running? If so you have power to the washer.
Can you turn the timer ahead manually a step at a time? Then if you don't hear the motor running the timer may not be working or sending signals to motor to start. . But If the motor starts a spin cycle then the timer is just not running itself probably dut to not getting power.
All this is difficult without the diagrams. There are so many interlocks and safety switches that you wont know about.

We can only use hot water in our Whirlpool 7.5kg WFE1070BD 1000RPM - how to we shut off the hot water and use cold water? We have tried only cold but the machine will not operate. Please help. Many...

Turn off the water to the machine. Disconnect the cold water hose from the back of the machine and put it in a large bucket. Turn on the water to see if you get full-pressure cold water from the hose. If not, the shut-off valve or other plumbing has a problem.

If you do get cold water from the hose, check the strainer inside the hose fitting on the back of the washer. Clean it if it is clogged. If you still don't get cold water in the machine, you have a problem with either the solenoid valve or the cold water fill contacts in the timer (the timer won't start until the tub is up to the selected level, but if the valve isn't opening or the supply line is otherwise blocked, the machine will never fill). Sometimes in this case you can hear the solenoid valve humming (normally the sound is masked by the running water).

If the problem is a clogged strainer, clean out the hot water strainer also.

I find I get better wash results with warm water (runs both hot and cold for the wash cycle). The soap is more active than in cold water, so I don't need quite so much, and the machine doesn't take as long to finish a cycle since it fills faster. Of course, the cold water has to be running to get the energy savings compared to hot only.

I bought this Whirlpool AD25BBL8 (model) from Lowes a few years ago. It no longer collects water - it will run forever with no water output. I can't afford to buy a new one - so need to make this...

Your air cond is either low on refrigerant, but more than likely the rear coil is stopped up. If you can, pull it out of the case, look through the rear fan in to the inside of the rear coil. You will probably see it is caked with dirt. You can wash this coil out with a water hose and sprayer, but be careful not to bend the coil aluminum fins and don't get any electrical component wet. Be sure to unplug it first, and after cleaning, let it dry for a couple hours before plugging it back up. Best way to do this is pull it out of the case, take it outside on the sidewalk and give it a good washing. Hope this works.

Is this machine a front loader,I bet you have a clogged drain pump.
Try this with no cloths in unit put Draino-Max Gel. Add about 1/3 of bottle and let it stay in washer about 2-3 hrs. now shut door and start machine put on heavy-duty hot-water.this may take a few times, but this well take care of dog hair ,strings and also sanitize machine after. After machine starts to run better, bleach machine every other week.

The washing cycle takes 2 hours to complete

Make sure the sani cycle is not selected, or pots and pans, also with the dry cycle most will take about 2 hours, if your dishes are not that dirty use the short cycle. Be sure your water is at least 130 F. Run hot water at faucet before starting the machine.

After washing clothes, water stays in the detergent tray.

Best plan is probably to take the detergent tray right out of the machine, then take it to bits before washing it out with hot running water and a toothbrush.

The problem with these things is that the bit that blocks up is pretty well hidden until you dismantle the tray.
