The heater ignites well, but if it gets a clear blue flame (and it burns very quiet), the thermocouple will glow red and the heater stays on, but when it gets a opaque blue flame (it makes a sound when...

I would start by replacing the thermocouple. It is suppose to keep the gas valve open when in operation. If the mercury in the thermocouple dries out it won't keep the gas valve open and thus the flame goes out. If that does not work then you have a gas valve problem.

Just installed this DV210SG Wall mounted panel heater, works great but smells like burning rubber, there is nothing burning, but sure smells bad! HELP!

There are manufacturing oils remaining on the metal. Allow it to stay on for about 1/2 hour. Open windows and door to ventilate. Smell will dissipate with use.

Vent less gas heater wont stay burning. starts nice blue flame and than goes out no polite lite no flame.

If your heater does not stay burning then you should check each of the internal components over to ensure that they are working properly. Look at your heater's manual to do this. Failing this, the best thing to do is to buy a new one as the cost of repairing one can cost loads of money. Good luck :)

The nozzle is either restricted or worn to a point that the cone shaped fuel pattern is no longer producing a FOG, but is now producing a SPRAY and is not producing combustion. By removing the top cover the aerodynamics changes and allows the cone to expand & atomize better.

All bets are off, though, if you haven't checked the pressure on the air pump. Setting the pump pressure is easy but critical, especially if your heater has a glowbar & control board. Instructions are at .

Check your heater over thoroughly for the exact model of your heater. "Pro 200" only designates a style and not all parts interchange from one PRO 200 to the other.

Will not stay lit

This sounds like its being starved of oxygen. Check the air input vent and clean it.
