Getting my dyson

My order #1140924557 came saying I owed $79.99 at the Hudson post office. I called there on 11/30 and someone said they called the Hudson post office and I had till the 15th to pick it up. When I went to pick it up they had sent it back. I really want that vac. I have been waiting on the phone for 2 hours and now decided to take this route. This doesn't speak well of dyson. I have 2 sharks and never had a problem. This was going to be a Christmas present. I'm totally frustrated!!!!

Can you buy the filter in the all compartment in ant retail stores?

Unfortunately we're unable to confirm whether or not local retailers would carry stock of the DC25 post motor filter. Both of DC25's filters are engineered to last the lifetime of the machine in normal use, and we wouldn't usually expect them to need replacement.

Can you buy filters in any retail stores?

Unfortunately we're unable to confirm whether or not local retailers would carry stock of the DC25 post motor filter. Both of DC25's filters are engineered to last the lifetime of the machine in normal use, and we wouldn't usually expect them to need replacement.

Dyson stopped working


There are three things that "stop" (no noise anymore) a DC07 working. I will list them in order of the most common to least common faults.

1) The motor is burnt out. Caused by over filling and not cleaning the filter regularly. You must replace the post motor filter when getting the motor replaced
2) The power cord has failed. This can usually be seen by visually inspecting the cord for damage.
3) The on/off switch has failed.

All of these faults should be repaired by a licensed sparky for safety reasons.

Dyson DC17 wont reset cleaned it, brushes spin freely by hand

I have an original yellow Dyson, DC07. Two tiny springs popped out from the end of the hose. Now the unlock button doesn't work - has no spring to it, doesn't hold wand in place. Nothing else is...

Hi, our Dyson does not sit on the carpet properly, it keeps lifting off and you have to now hold it down with your foot. Has anyone posted this issue previously?

I recently put a call into dyson regarding a problem with my vaccuum and a supervisor was supposed to get back to me. no one has. back in august, we were on the phone with a technician regarding a problem...


Unless you can Dyson to intervene and have this repair covered under their warranty, You are stuck to pay for the service. Clogs may not be covered under warranty, but I don't know how their warranty states. If it says that if you have a problem, take it in for repair, and it will be repaired to the orginal state, then a clog should be covered. But some shops will charge an adminstration type fee even if it is under warranty as the warranty doesn't pay hardly anything.
