SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

Im trying to apply for the aged pension and download the appropriate documents. I have registered my gov account and linked it with Centrelink using the linking code.

Hello, Chris -

Fixya.com, a website intended for asking and answering questions on how to go about REPAIRING THINGS, has no affiliation with the Australian government, the aged pension program, or Centrelink.

I suggest you make a telephone call:
132 300
Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm
(Source:
https://www.humanservices.gov.au/individuals/contact-us/phone-us#centrelink )
and speak with a person in that department.

Best wishes.

My husband receives the aged pension since march 2015. I turn 65.5 in march 2018. Our circumstances have not changed... do I need to apply for pension or am I automatically added to my husbands

talk with center link
however couples pension is less than two singles so one way around it is a legal separation as that maintains the single status to get the most from the pemsion
the separation is in name only and does not mean away from each other

Next aged pension payment

Hello, Sandra -

Since you did not state the country in which you reside (I'm in the USA and we don't use the phrase "aged pension"), I am guessing you are an Australian citizen, as I have found the term "age pension" on web pages for the Australian Government Department of Human Services.

I did find a brief reference to payments every fortnight (every 2 weeks.) However, to be sure, I recommend you contact the Austrialian Government Department of Human Services and ask your question. This is the link to the department's "Contact Us" connections: https://www.humanservices.gov.au/individuals/contact-us . Scroll down that page to the column headed "Get in touch" and choose how you wish to contact the department ask what you need to know.

Best wishes.

Guaranteed Income from Insurance company. Should the income from it effect centrelink aged pension?

yes
it is an income and if it is more than $18,000.00 per year the aged pension is reduced accordingly
talk with center link and the insurance company
may be you should have the insurance income paid into a superannuation pension account the have it paid out monthly as a deemed account
ask financial advisers on what to do

or this

http://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/services/centrelink/pension-bonus-bereavement-payment

"Pension Bonus Bereavement Payment
Pension Bonus Bereavement Payment is a tax free lump sum payment for the surviving
partner of a deceased Pension Bonus Scheme member who did not make a successful
claim for Age Pension and Pension Bonus before they died.
To qualify you must satisfy residence and other requirements. The amount of the payment
will depend on the amount of Pension Bonus that would have been paid to your deceased
partner had they successfully claimed Age Pension and Pension Bonus before they died."
