Is there power to the AC outlet? Is that outlet a switched outlet?
Is there a factory reset switch on the TV?
Can't say any more. That's the best "blind guess."
i need more infromation to check

Has sound ,no backlight, faint image

If you see a faint image, backlight is there, but its intensity is less. There are many reasons for this fault. From back-light inverter board to LCD panel should be checked for the fault. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.

The rear lights and signal lights stop wrkng in my bros car,the windows dsnt go up nor down, and he have to reprogram the radio every time he gets in the car, fuses r ok and relay as well, what can be...

First thing is to measure voltage across battery (should be 12.6volts). If less than 12v then battery may be in poor condition and most things will not work properly. Before renewing the battery when the engine is running again check voltage across battery. It should read 14.4volts; this is the recharge voltage supplied by the alternator. If the voltage is less than 14v or the voltage supplied is intermittent then change the carbon brushes and perhaps the voltage regulator on the alternator (less than £10 on line)

How to test the electrical system of the generator for free

Ez test to determine if stator wiring is ok. This test works on generators that have two sets of 115v plugs and 220v plug. Use a 12v, 1amp ac power supply ( smaller ac power supply should work ok ). With generator not running, apply 12v to one of the 115v outlet plugs. Now verify 12v output voltage with meter at another 115v outlet on generator. Also verify that there is about twice the voltage at the 220 v outlet plug (should be about 20v - 24v) . If the adjoining 115 v outlet plug has no output or very little voltage or if the 220 volt plug has no output, most likely stator is damaged or breaker is off. If the stator is shorted voltage reading will be very low and power supply will heat up. If stator is open, there will be no voltage at second 115v plug or 220 v plug. If voltage is ok at the other outlet plugs as per test above then most likely problem is with voltage regulator, or brushes not making contact or armature winding open or just needs to be energized. Unplug the 12v power supply after test to prevent it from overheating. Most generators have two 115v windings that together power the 220v plug. When you energize one of the windings with the 12v power supply, the second 115v winding will be energized also and give you a voltage reading about equal to 12v. You will not damage the generator with this small voltage being input thru the plug. Good luck

Sound no picture Samsung 58" Plasma TV Model #: PN58C550G1FXZA

if you are a tech in any aspect, try testing the power points Vs and Va voltages. If not present even with the other circuit boards disconnected the Vs is supposed to be 205v when disconnected like on my tv, it only had 12v and the Va which is supposed to read 56v was reading about 10v when the boards were connected (Y Buffers). With the boards disconnected the power supply will read high voltages, and when connected (try lower first, then try upper, then try together). If there is a voltage drop (significant) that particular board connected is the culprit. If the PSU doesn't read a large voltage like mentioned, try replacing the PSU first. Go to for parts

I have a 1994 ford taurus station wagon, the battery won't stay charged, the confusing thing is that the inside panel and door light works

you have a faulty alternator by the sounds of it, try this simple test, : test the voltage of the battery with the vehicle off with a simple multimeter, it should read just over 12v then test it with the car running, it should read around 14-14.5 volts if it still only reads 12v then your alternator needs replacing.
