I've had my washer for about 8 years. I experienced the same problem - pump stopped draining the machine. I called F&P and "Patrick" told me that I need to 1) unplug the machine, 2) tilt up the front of the machine, 3) spin the pump (plastic blades) until they turn freely (usually counter clockwise) but I turn it both ways till it turns freely, 4) plug the machine back in and press the buttons to get it back where it was - this has worked every time to get the machine going again. I do a lot of "dog laundry" and I'm sure the rugs/dog hair cause the problem. Hope this helps!

If you cannot see the water leaking from the inlet valves, check the seal just above the water pump located directly under the drum. I am in the midst of awaiting parts to fix this very thing on my FP GWL11. This leak is dripping water directly onto the motor, causing it to trip the circuit breaker during drain/spin cycles.
Note... I have also had to have the inlet valve assembly replaced as well as it was not opening to allow cold water to mix with the hot.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: washer will not drain
90% chance that is the pump is pumping water at all, there is blockage between the tub and the drain pump. If there is no water coming out of the drain line. either extremely clogged(odd) or pump motor is bad, and windings are not allowing rotation.

If you call their technial assistance number listed in your users manual they will send you a manual for $49.00. That is the only source I know of. As for parts Sears Direct has diagrams of your model here. Just click on the link that matches your exact model (there are only 2 links) 50 /50 chance! :) http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?modelNumber=GWL11&=part+number
The 68 page users manual in PDF format can be found here. http://www.managemyhome.com/mmh/lis_pdf/OWNM/L0606358.pdf
As for the step by step on the pump change regretfully I can't help you without seeing it myself. Hope this helps as it has taken 45 mins just to get the infromation above for you.

Testimonial: "Thanks for all your work. Too bad Fisher Paykel is so difficult to work with-don't even have a local svc person. It's a shame. "
Could be something in the pump. The pump is on the bottom of the tub.
It has a locking tab which you release and then twist the pump a hair and it will fall out. Warning: Have rags ready! I have the original GWL service manual and the GWL 11 supplimental manual. Let me know if you want them.
