Question about Vacuums
First check your drive belt and see if it is broken or has come off. Its possible you could have a cord or a strand of something wrapped to keep it from turning. Could be a chunk of dirt. If its an older machine the beater bar could be seized and needs to be taken apart and cleaned and lubricated.
