Kobalt 10 saw blows dust everywhere ,even with a 2 shop vac connected to the dust chute .

It is possible that the dust chute on the Kobalt saw is plugged, not allowing the vacuum to pick up the dust. Run a rod through the dust tube and see if that clears it.

Need some more information, are you vacuuming dry wall dust or wet dust or saw dust ? The reason I ask is sometime their are "upgrades" available for the newer models of vacs you may not be aware of, when I worked at the Big Box H D tool rental center the vac we rented out used a water filtration set up instead of bags U might wont to check newer model for any changes, like you ,I had Craftsman for over 15 yrs. and when it died the replacement vac had a new mod for the filter that I always thought was needed. The bags you ordered are for the ZR 80 type. After veiwing the link you submitted for the type of dry vac you have, these bags will not work with your Classic canister Vac. The filters you need simply go over the intake area, sort of like a coffee filter upside down, the a mounting ring slides over the filter and slid down until it can not go any further, the ring holds the filter in place.(over the foam filter)

I have two Electrolux Central Vacs. One is not working. Is there a reset button

If this is a CENTRALUX metal bodied 1590 series vac vac there is a reset breaker on the side of the motor housing of the vac. Depending on the age of the vac there is also a filter lockout switch . If you are using a cartridge filter and it is misaligned and drops down the switch will shut the vac off to prevent motor damage. Check those two items. The internal filter must be fully inserted so its twist lock/washer device can rotate holding it up in place. Then take a pair of insulated pliers and short across the low voltage terminals where the wiring system enters the top of the vac . If the vac starts, it is fine. If not your problem lies in the motor , the relay or the filter lockout switch.
If you have a plastic bodied Electrolux, a recent model the test procedure is the same but there is not the same lockout for the filter

Next test the nearest inlet in the house. If it fails to start you have a break in your internal wiring, possibly at a connection or a an inlet which may have a loose wire connection behind the wall. Post back with your results and if you have more questions. If so post the model #

Switches will not turn off unit. model #cv450w

If the switches on the hose will not turn off the vac you have a short in the wiring of the vac pipe system or a defective relay on the circuit board. Plug the vac in again without the hose and disconnect the thin low voltage wiring were it plugs into or screws onto the vac.
If the vac continues to run once disconnected from the low voltage circuit you have a defective relay in the vac itself. Some are circuit board mounted , others freestanding. To avoid a service call you can take the tank off the wall and take it to a pro shop or remove the top hosing if you are confident and check out the relay for a replacement part.
If the vac stops your issue is in the house. Has any painting been done or any inlets removed lately.. check that area first for a short at the inlet. Go back to any and all inlets and remove them one at a time checking the mounting screws and backing plates for loose wiring which is touching either the metal inner wall plate in the wall or a common screw . Test the vac as you go.
If this does not help, you will need to examine the wiring in the house , running along the pipe. Again if anything has been disturbed recently, near the vac, or near any piping that would be your first suspect area.
Post back to advise.

I have a Nutone central vacuum model number CV450W that was working great until I recently removed the hose and it now runs continuously until I pull the plug....any suggestions please

Disconnect the thin low voltage wiring between the vac and the rest of the house. If the vac continues to run you have a defective relay in the vac motor housing.
If the vac stops you have a short in the wiring in the house, likely behind an inlet in the wall.
If any inlets have been disturbed for painting or renos lately that would be the first spot to look in the house for a problem. Look for wires behind the inlet valve which are touching against each other or a mounting screw or against a metal mounting plate behind the inlet. Start at the last inlet used. Be careful not to loose the spring under the screws where the wiring attaches to the inlets

I got a new filter for my Beam central vacuum. How do I replace it? Do I take off the top lid of the canister?

You would not normally need to replace the filter unless it is damaged. Access is from inside the tank itself. Remove the bucket and locate the finger loop on the existing filter. Pull toward the inside of the bucket. Replace the filer by setting in it's track and snapping tight to the wall of the vac. Unless damaged you can save and clean the old filter for reuse.

Kenmore central Vac - where to connect low voltage wires?

Mosy central vacs have 2 spades close together that stick out on the side, usually where the circuit breaker and auto/manual switch is. This is where you plug the low voltage wires into.
