Try power option High performance or search your Advanced power settings for the USB settings, I don't know what your OS is, but the settings can be set by the device.

Pro 901 will only copy 4 x 6 but prints 8 x 10 from computer

This has nothing to do with the software since you're only trying to copy. The faster way to fix this is to reset your printer back to factory settings. Don't worry, if you printer is connected to your network, it will not be affected.

To reset your printer, please follow the steps below:

1. Using the touch screen of your printer, press the Wrench icon
2. Press Use Factory Defaults
3. Press Yes
4. When prompted to set the initial settings of your printer, make your selections using the touch screen.

I just set up my new mx410 printer and every time I try to print it says, 'printer is performing another operation' how to I get past this. It's set up with a usb cord not wireless at this...

Hi, Try this: Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. Then, unplug the USB from the back of the printer. After a minute, plug the power cord back in. Let the printer boot up for a minute. Then plug the USB in again. Let the USB get connected. If you don't see any errors and you setup your printer, then that should have reset the "other operation".

My printer, freshly installed on my computer, keeps giving me the error for "Load Cassette A4" anytime I print something. I have letter-sized paper in the printer. How do I correct this? Also, it...

You don't specify the printer model, don't specify the operating system... How can we help you, if you don't help us understand your problem?...

Vaguely (as I don't have any details from you) you need to check the default print settings. In Windows they are located in the printer folder options and in the printer driver settings, and have to be both changed to be sure.

Also you might have documents formatted for A4 paper.
Some printers in their settings have an option to automatically substitute A4 for Letter and vice versa, might be worth to find this setting and enable it.

I bought the wrong printer for my needs and the cartridges for my HP Photosmart C309g-m run out when I don't even want color. Is there a way to set permanately, not with every printing secssion to use...

Hi

Yes you can set it to print permanently. You have to go to Printer proprieties and go to color option and choose Gray scale printing only and this will not use the other inks at all but black cartridge only for printing.

Am using HP 8750 photosmart printer in east timor.I brought 344 cartridges for 97 which the vendor said its equivalent. How to replace cartridges with 344 for a old 97 cartridge.Settings required to change...

Easiest thing you can do to use old ink cartridges:
Move your system Date back to one year before the
Expiration Date(s) before clicking on [PRINT]
(Don't forget to reset the time back after your printing
is finished.)
If you need to print the same job multiple times, set
the date back, print to a File (instead of directly to the
printer), reset the date back and use CopyTo Printer
software to send the file(s) to your printer.

Where is tray 1 located?

Most Lexmark printers have two input sources. The Manual Feed Tree, located at the top back of the printer across the top of the printer.

And Tray 1. Tray 1 is located under the Paper Exit Tray in the front bottom of the printer.

You lift up the paper exit tray to reach the Tray 1 to change the paper size guides. It comes set up for 8.5 X 11 (Letter Size) paper.

I bought a MFC-7840W 120v to asia and plugged it into the local socket seems it popped and does not power on, was told it had an international power supply. Nothing was smoking or seemed burnt. Is there a...

An International Power Supply usually has a power selector switch on the back of the printer. Asia uses 240 VAC (At least I think it does).

Check the back of the printer and make sure that it is set properly and try again.

Be aware that if you plugged a 220/240 source into the printer and the printer is set for 110, then more than likely, you have fried the power supply.
