Question about RCA F36650 36" TV

Rca 36 " F36650

I am pretty sure that the problem with my t.v. is the flyback transformer. it wont turn on and when i do power it up it sounds like it is going to turn on but then shuts off. now to my real question someone told me that when the flyback goes out it is because of the horizantal output transformer. and i would be doing a good thing if i were to buy a horizantal output transformer and a new coil is this a good idea or is it just the flyback and thats all.

Probably the horizontal out(HOT) is shorted. The flyback transformer is probably gone out also. For a 32650 the horz. is a 2sc5148 or a nte 2324. I don't know if the 36 is the same horz.or not . Hope this is helpful.

The H.O.T tranistor and flyback transformer are bad. This can be fixed cheap if you find the right shop. Transformer cost about $22. and the H.O.T transistor is about $6.00. The labor is what you have to shop for.
