Are you on cable or regular antennae?

  • ross
    ross Dec 02, 2016

    Antenna

  • rdjagger Dec 02, 2016

You should be able to scroll thru various input options. One should say either: tv or antennae.

It won't go up to TV so I can click on it

  • rdjagger Dec 02, 2016

So there is an input button but when you push it nothing happens? Only other thought is just unplugging tv for a bit and then see if the button works.

    Hmm still nothing

  • rdjagger Dec 02, 2016

On some TV sets you use another button to move the setting on the input. So push input to show hdmi and then try vol button or channel button to move to the input you want. Good luck. Sorry I wasn't more helpful.

MOV is so-called QuickTime File Format, which is natively developed by Apple QuickTime framework.
The format specifies a multimedia container file that contains one or more tracks, each of which stores a particular type of data: audio, video, or text (e.g. for subtitles).
Though QuickTime is not compatible with WMV, I have found the method for you to enjoy your WMV movie on your iPhone or iPad.

How do I set my Vizio tv up so it will let me watch movies on a Sony DVDs player

Assuming the DVD player has an HDMI port, run an HDMI cable from the DVD player to an available HDMI port on the TV. Let's say you have your TV service going to HDMI #1 on the TV, you can run the DVD to HDMI #2. When you want to watch a DVD, you must select the input/source on the TV remote to change it to HDMI 2(or whichever port you used). When ready to watch TV again, use the same button to change back to HDMI 1 (or whichever HDMI port you used for TV service). If you do not have an HDMI port on the DVD player, then you must use whatever type of connection it has and connect to the corresponding port(s) on your tv, Then follow same directions as above regarding choosing the input/source on the TV remote.

PS3 Has no Video - Simple fix!

When you attach your Play Station 3 to an HD TV through an HDMI port, the Play Station 3 will ask you if you wish to switch to HD Mode.

However, if you decide to move it to another TV that is not HD compatible, you will get no picture because the Play Station 3 is “stuck” in HD (HDMI) mode.

Follow these steps to resolve your problem:

1. Turn off the PS3 so it only shows a red light. You can hold the power button on the front until it goes into standby. To be sure, flick the power switch on the back of the Play Station 3 off and then back on.

2. Make sure your Play Station 3 is connected to your regular TV (not HDTV) with the standard video cables.

3. Press and hold the power button until the screen "flickers" and then immediately release. This should reset the video settings.

4. Wait a few seconds, and the Play Station 3 (PS3) logo should appear.

If this does not resolve the problem, follow these steps:

3. Press and hold the power button on the front until the Play Station 3 beeps and then turns off again. This should reset the video for you and you can turn it back on after this.

That’s it! You can play your Play Station 3 again!

Source button does not work The hisense Tv cannot respond to change to hdmi and is stuck on monotv

new batteries. But that won't solve the problem if the universal remote apply other code. when the original remote is applied, you touch the tv icon to be sure you are using the correct parameters. When it still won't solve the problem you go to the ir circuit on the set. the reason may be because of the accumulation of the dust and dirt on the buttons.

Just installed roku3 to TV. I want to watch regular local tv . How do I switch from Roku options to my regular viewing and then back to Roku later?

There should be a 'Source' or 'Input' button on your TV's remote. Press on that button and it will display your active Audio/Video sources, probably as HDMI ports. Identify which one is your TV and which one is your Roku and then press the 'Select' button on the remote.

Sonny Play Station 3

how is it connected to the tv? does your tv auto switch channels? if not try manually switching inputs with your tv remote (ext1, ext2, scart, hdmi etc etc) you say you connected to tv put in a disc right away? did you set up your console first? (of course point one about the display needs to be resolved before set-up can take place)

example if you are connected to your tv with an HDMI cable and your tv does not detect and then switch to your HDMI input.. use tv remote and repeatadly press button (maybe called source on your remote maybe something else) untill the input is switched to HDMI

Tv/remote input problems

Try plugging your cable box in using a/v cables (red, white, yellow) and see if you have a picture on a different input from the box. If so, go into your general settings in the box and change the output channel to 4 instead of 3. Then try your TV on 4 and see if your picture comes in. I have seen TV tuners go out on just one channel before.
