My Dymo letratag will not turn on after I changed the batteries. What do you suggest?

I used it and printed a label but the lettering was very faded and there was a message about low batteries.

Not clear what "funny" means in this case. Are the letters unclear? distorted? It may be that the batteries are failing.

Hi,
They're *all* thermal ones, none of the dymo printers use ink. When the print is fading it means the batteries are running out, so just replace them!

When typing the print is faded

Dymo LetraTAGs are thermal printers, so they don't use ink - just batteries and LetraTAG tapes.
When the print starts to fade it's time to put new batteries in. When the batteries are running out the text fades first even when the motor is still feeding tape.

Dymo Letratags are thermal printers, so they don't use ink - just batteries and LetraTAG tapes.
When the batteries are running out the text fades first even when the motor is still feeding tape, so change the batteries!

Dymo LetraTAGs are thermal printers, so they don't use ink - Change the batteries and it will fix the problem.

They don't use ink, just the label cartridge. If the print is fading, replace the batteries:

ON my DYMO letratag Qx50 - the print is faint on some letters - if it doesn't have ink - then how can I fix this and make the printer darker? Is is just getting old? I just changed the pastic cartridge....

Either the print head is failing or the batteries need replacing

Labels coming out blank

1. Replace the batteries (use only alcalines)
2. See if the tape is correctly inserted.
3. Clean the printer head
4. Replace the tape with a new one.
5. Check the contrast settings

Ink is fading on my qx50

Dymo Labellers don't use ink, they are thermal printers. When the print fades it usually means the batteries are running out.

Are you sure the batteries are installed in the correct polarity? recheck it.
