You can reach lost files on a USB chip by downloading "RECUVA" from https://www.piriform.com/recuva. You will need to run the app in Windows. It's free and very efficient - it's user-friendly too. Good luck !

Try opening up PPT and going into file>open>recent or something similar. PowerPoint generally has pretty good autosave or recovery options these days (if you have the latest version)

How to recover data from a samsung old flip phone

Here is a guide you can follow:

Before recovery:

Enable USB Debugging Mode. For most phones, you can find the option on your phone through: Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging. If you can't find the option, please type "phone model + enable USB Debugging mode" in search engines to get detailed guides.

Root your phone to get root privilege. Rooting means gaining root access to your device, so that the program gets permission to scan your phone. Since there are so many Android OS versions and phone brands, it's hard to find a single tool that can root all devices in high successful rate. Here are some commonly used root tools: iRoot, Kingo Root, oneclickroot, Root Genius, etc.

Connect phone to computer via USB cable. Please make sure it is well connected, otherwise recovery result will be disturbed.

Step 1: Launch Eassos Android Data Recovery software, and click "Refresh Device" to detect the device. The program will show storage devices in your phone and display internal built-in memory (internal storage) and memory card separately.

Step 2: Select storage device and click "Next". Then this Android data recovery software will make image and search for lost data automatically. connect-device-to-computer-l4z23du0euvv25ewe4orlrwr-4-2.png

Step 3: After a while the image is created and the software starts to scan it and display lost files.searching-l4z23du0euvv25ewe4orlrwr-4-5.png

Step 4: Preview files. Double-click file to open it and view its content and files like photos, video, audio, documents, etc. can be previewed.

Step 5: Select files you want to recover and click "Recover" button to save them to a secure location. Alternatively, after selecting needed files, you can right click mouse and copy files with context menu.

Windows xp operating system

Remove the hard drive from the laptop and connect it to the USB hard drive adapter then connect it to a working computer's USB port. This computer will see the USB hard drive adapter and hard drive as an external storage device, you can then open the folders and files on the hard drive and copy the data files to the computer and to backup your files.

The directory is corrupted and unreadable

The most common cause of this is removing the USB drive without clicking "Safely remove hardware" in the task bar. Especially if data is being written to the drive, this can result in corrupt files and may make the drive unusable.

I'm sorry to say the data may be unrecoverable--ALWAYS make backups!

Two things to try before you write-off the data as lost forever.

One: Try booting the computer in SAFE mode and see if you can pull files off the USB Drive--you may have to give the drive administrative privileges.

Two: Download and run the trial version of the BadCopy data recovery program at this link:

http://www.jufsoft.com/badcopy/

To make the drive usable again, find it in My Computer, RIGHT click on it and click "Format." The choose "Quick" format. A quick format should make it usable again.

If the BadCopy program could find no files to recover: After the quick format, you may be able to pull some of the files off simply in windows. If not, run BadCopy again: It just may find some files after the quick format.

A full format erases ALL data which may remain on the drive. Only use quick format if you expect to recover anything.

Good Luck!

I lost my software cd for insignia NS-DV2G........so, now i can't download any songs!.....what should i do?

You can use Windows Explorer to transfer files to your insignia sport player. First, in the settings on your player, go to Settings, USB Mode, Connection Type and select File & Folder. Then, plug your player in to your USB cable. Windows XP should automatically find your player and make a new drive letter in Windows Explorer. Simply drag and drop your mp3 files from your c drive to the new drive for your player. You'll notice that when you delete the files on your new drive for your player that it doesnt remove them from your player. You'll need to use your player (settings, system, erase internal) to erase internal (and external), but after that when you add new files, they will be added to the player when it does the profiling after you disconnect the USB cable. No memory

The MEMORY was lost? ie: Did you physically lose 2/4/6 Gb of usable memory or did you lose the FILES in memory?? I would go to the SanDisk site and download the latest firmware update. Also be sure that you are using a "high power" USB port (USB 2.0 usually) and that the player's USB setting is set to MTP mode.
