Boss bv9555 screen wont come on, buttons light up blue, tried to reset it but that didnt work. Everything is wired right what could be the problem

SOURCE: magellan 4250 blue screen, not able to reset

This may mean that the GPS was formatted and there is no data on it. So basically, you can't do anything with it because all the maps and software were deleted.

SOURCE: dv6700 hp laptop wont power on

This is a dumb question i'm going to ask but is the power cord plugged in. Mine recently killed over. Come to find out it was the battery pack, which was fully charged, just didnt work anymore.

To reset the Boss BV9555 unit:

  1. Pres the RES button on the LCD panel located toward the bottom right area using a pen or similar pointed object.
  2. Power the unit on.

I just got the Boss BV9555 and the BLUE WARNING SCREEN wont go away ! how can i fix this. Oh and when i put in a DVD i can hear it but i cant see it at all!


put the pink cable on the negative i hade the same problem but now it work its a safty cable so u dont watch wile u driving but u can by pass it

Will the Boss BV9555 fit a 2004 F150 ( new body style) super cab with factory stereo .


the radio is double din but the opening is only din and 1/2. it would fit but requires some customising
