Is Dayton electric heater # 2e669a a 110v or 220v

I can't find that model number. The closest I came was this page. Some heaters are 110, some are 240. I couldn't find a manufacturer page either.

Dayton heater mod 2yu59 is not heating up?

Need to check the low voltage circuit for 24 volts, the 480 volt to 24 volt transformer may have a circuit protection reset or fuse installed. All the 3 phase electric heaters use a low voltage control circuit for operation of relays (24 volt coils).

Is there any place to get a heating element for an OLD Dayton Electric Garage Heater..... model 3E087..... 240V, 10,000watt. It has a circular heating element, and only the inner most part of the element...

I think your best bet is to go to Grainger.com. and go to repair parts for dayton furnaces with your model and serial number and part no. if possible. You can also call1-800-323-0620 and get location of dealer nearest to you.
I have dealt with them for many years and they have always treated me right. Not always the cheapest but I have been happy with the service and the expertise of their staff. I hope this helps you and have a good new year.
Thank you.

Model 6a858 what does each pin do 6and 7 are a n/o contact ,1,2 and 3are what configuration. Running 2 load augers for agrain bin ,want to run 2nd one 5sec longer

3c97c78.jpg
Load can't exceed 1 amp, so you'll need a contactor with 120 Volt coil to control load augers.

To run 2 load augers, you need a second Dayton time delay. And another contactor.

Contactors:
Local heat-air conditioning supply carries contactors.
Grainger contactor with 120V coil and 25 amp capacity across terminals

Fasco H230A with 120V coil and 30 amp across terminals

My dayton NG heater fan will not shut off properly

Sounds like a bad fan switch. The switch is located on the heat exchanger and is 110 volt bi-metal switch. Follow the wires from the blower going back to the heatexchanger. Graingers can get you a new switch if you give them your model number. www.grainger.com.

Wiring diagram for a Dayton thermostat

Contact Dayton on the internet for this problem. The diagram should be available on their site. Or they will give you a number for customer care. They can give you step-by-step instructions. I am a technician and this is what I would do as their are millions of wiring diagrams. Many are noy up to date.

My Dayton garage heater model 2E636B does not heat up.

These heaters are the same as the marley heater, the element never gets red hot. the unit is set up so the fan kicks on after the element has heated to a certain temp and turns off after the element has cooled. It is common for these heater fans to cycle on and off quite often untill the air temp reaches about 55 degrees and then will operate normaly. If the fan still cycles too often you may have to replace the fan control and high limit switch. These are not very expensive and easy to replace yourself. they arte usualy attached to the back of the element with clips. The luke warm air is what these units put out. I have an equivelent to the dayton G73 and it heats a 24' X 30' garrage all winter in central Minnesota.
