What is THE EASIEST WAY TO BYPASS MY HEATER CORE ON MY 2000 BMW 323I

the easiest way is to remove the pipes to it from engine bay and use a copper pipe to bridge the pipes, so you will need to cut the ends off and use some jubiees on the pipes to secure it to the copper pipe standard house hold size copper pipe, if you do need to cut ends off make sure you leave and inch and a half on them so you can fix them back on when the heater core is replaced or fixed. just to recommend i would fix the core as soon as possible

I can't seem to install my ink cartridge correctly. Do you have a picture demonstration on how to do this? I continue getting an error message.

Installing the print cartridges Follow the instructions below to install the print cartridges: caution.png CAUTION: Do not touch the print cartridge ink nozzles or copper contacts. Touching these parts will result in clogs, ink failure, and bad electrical connections. Do not remove the copper strips. They are required electrical contacts.
  1. Remove the print cartridge from its packaging and carefully remove the plastic tape from the copper strip. Figure 2: Removing the plastic tapec00109809.jpg

Brake tail light strip on trunk is out. trouble shoot ? bulb on right side tail light is out. but can't find data on tail light strip of lights on trunk

Lets simply thing here. American Auto Manufacture use three wires set for it rear light assembly. One wire to the braking switch for both stop lights, one wire for the clearance light on both sides. Now if you look at the plug for taillight assemble there will three wires and didn't mention the third wire, it's ground. The two brake light uses one wire, then for on or clearance light uses one wire, and the ground uses one wire On old automobile normal the grounds any place on the body. But now the grounding points to make sure there isn't a faulty ground.

Turn signal light are a separate circuit as with the back up lights. I fairly sure your Caddy uses a Mylar strip with copper strips on it. Find were this copper strips are broken, scratch off the thin layer insulation and solder a jumper wire across the broken copper strip.

There will be a Central location where these light are tied together. Left brake light wire goes to the one wire from the brake switch under the dash, the right brake light goes to the same tied point to brake light switch under the dash. The Central wire point will be at one of the back lights. Just follow the colored wire. Now, each has two colors, one solid and one strip is colored with different colors. I hope this help you. Took the top cover off upon removing the float a copper clip fell out, where does it go?

The copper clip is call grounding strip.
It clip on the edge of the cover.
The purpose is to keep the unit static discharge to pass from the front panel to the main metal unit so the user will not get a static discharge.
If you inspect the back side of the cover you will see a CLEAN SPOT. (tan line)
Please the copper strip on the exact same spot and snap the cover back on.

Cannot recognized ink and cannot print

Check to see if the installed cartridge is the correct one for the printer. If the cartridge is the proper part number, remove the ink cartridge and make sure all the packaging tape has been removed from the copper circuitry strip on the backside of the cartridge. Reinsert the cartridge and try printing again.
If the error continues, remove the cartridge again and clean the copper circuitry strip on the backside of the cartridge, and the contacts inside the printer, by following the instructions below:
1. Use a clean, dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Locate the copper-colored circuitry strip on the back of the cartridge.
2. Wipe the copper-colored strip with the dry cloth. Use an upward motion, from the nozzle end to the top of the cartridge. Do not wipe the nozzle end of the cartridge or touch the nozzle plate. Wipe the contacts only once.
3. To clean the printer contacts, carefully look for fibers or contamination on the electrical contacts inside the carriage assembly, but do not wipe the printer contacts with any object. The contacts in the printer can be damaged if too much pressure is applied during a wiping process. Try to remove any visible attached debris within the carriage assembly by gently pulling the debris off with your fingers. If the carriage contacts show noticeable damage, contact the Customer Care Center listed in the printer's User's Guide.
Reinsert the cartridge and try printing again. If the error continues, the cartridge may need to be replaced.
Hope this helps. Please rate my response.
Thanks.
Have a good day.

My printer doesn't not recognize that I just put in a new color cartridge

hi,
try to remove the new color cartridge, if you have a clean cloth, try to wipe to copper strip of the new cartridge. try to wipe the copper strip of the carrier where you put the color cartridge, BUT before doing that make sure that the printer's power cable is unplugged.
place the power cable after wiping the copper strip of the color cartridge carrier. then place the color cartridge. if still same. try the old cartridge. if the old one is recognized, it's your new cartridge fault. you need to contact dell to have the cartridge replaced. if you ordered it from dell.

None of the gauges work?

Suggest that it is a bad ground.
Your instrument dash is made of plastic. There is a large plastic strip on the backside of it, that contains Thin, Very, small copper strips. These copper strips conduct electricity to the gauges, and also a ground source.

There is a flat cable, or wire, (Or more than one), that connects from that plastic strip, to the metal body of your Jeep. This is the ground source to that plastic strip. If it has a loose connection, (loose bolt), corrosion, or rust at the connection to the body, or is broken, you will have lost your instrument panel's ground.

Also there should be 2 flat braided cables leading from the firewall, (Hood open. Under the windshield), to the engine. These need to be connected, and there should be 2 of them, not 1.
