Question about Dell E773C 17" CRT Monitor
Hellow when i switch on my monitor, after a moment it starts giving spack noise and smells like is burning but it stops after severa seconds, it continue for soveral day till it could not power on, I open the monitor and check what could be the proble is when i realize One big capacitor near the power supply has blown, can this capacitor be replaced, and is it possible that could be the only problem fro not powering on?
Not capacitor the rotten smell and fire, but fly back monitor you, if it is opened you will see large black color paste that into the tube, please remove and pull it out and clean the contacts of the tube, but careful You strongly its electricity, using a wire that is long and 1ft jab to cap that the flame tube and jab you in the ground one end and then you lift partially.good luck and careful
