I hit the SAT button by mistake and now the TV picture won't come back on- it says to hit input button but that doesn't work

Hi there, my name is Kimberly and I form part od the Social Media Department with DISH. If you are at TV1, where the receiver box is located, the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4. Depending on the cable that is running between the receiver and the tv, the tv may need to be on an input, such as video 1 or 2 (Our remote will not always work to change the input on your tv. We recommend that you use the original remote that came with the TV at the time of purchse or the Input/Source button on the TV itself). If you are at the TV2 location, where there is no receiver, then the tv needs to be on channel 60 or 73.
If you are using an HDMI cable, then the TV will need to be on an HDMI input
If you are using Component cables, your TV will need to be on a component input. (Usually Comp 1 or 2)
If you are using RCA cables, then the TV will need to be on a VIDEO input (Usually Video 1 or 2)
If you are using COAX cables, then the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4 (If you are at TV2, then the TV needs to be on channel 60 or 73)

Dish network Blue screen No "Signal

Hi john harrison!

A blue screen with "No Signal" is usually related to a video problem. The TV may be getting changed off the correct input/channel, or the video cable might be going bad.

If you have a spare, I would recommend a different cable and seeing if that fixes the problem. If it continues, verify the input/channel your TV is on when it receives a picture and if it goes out try putting it back on that input/channel.

If problems still continue I would be happy to review additional options with you. You can reach me here or at thomas.faust@dish.com

Turn off and on, blue screen

Hi, I am sorry you are having a problem with your DISH video. A blue screen means you are on the correct channel or input on your TV. If you turn the Tv off and then back on, ehat channel ot input does it say it is on. You should be on channel 3 if at TV1 or 60 or 73 if at TV2. If the receiver is connected to the TV using the Red/ White/Yellow cables, then the TV needs to be set to a video input. If you any additional assistance, please email me directly. Thank you!

Our new vizio tv is hooked up just like our old tv, (satellite provider being dish network) and it says no signal with a blue screen

Hello. This is usually an easy issue to fix. To get the DISH Network back on the screen, i have included a few steps:

If you are at TV1, where the receiver box is located, the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4. Depending on the cable that is running between the receiver and the tv, the tv may need to be on an input, such as video 1 or 2.

Remote for TV2 will not operate sattelite. It works the TV but will not change the screensaver screen

If the TV 2 remote does not remove the screen saver when you press "Select", the remote probably needs to be readdressed to the receiver. You want to take the TV 2 remote to TV 1 location. I have provided a link with the full instructions on how to readdress the remote. I hope this helps.

Ihave the codes 569, 632, 505, 516 and 004. What you will want to do is holddown the clear TV button for 6 seconds and then press in the three digit codeand the # button. If these keys don't work we do have a step called Power Scanand I will send the link to help with the setup. http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/power-scan-instructions

How do you replace the projective cover on the screen

Remove the torx 20 screw around the screen. i suggest taping it on untill all screws are removed then remove the bottom speaker grill. again with torx screws on back then remove the center front piece with the buttons on it. you dont have to remove the wires just sit it down carefully. there is a plastic rivit on the bottom of screen in the center that needs to be pulled. the screen frame can be removed

Your problem is a combination of calibration of your TV and signal strength of your Dish system. Proper color calibration will remove the motion blur and SD issues in the average home. If you continue to have poor quality on your dish system after calibration, then Dish needs to check your signal strengths again. (AND fix it.)

Dish network vs. on screen problem

This surely is not a problem? The TV is simply indicating what channel it is recieving signals from. But in most TVs, to remove this On Screen Display, just deactivate by pressing 'Display' or 'OSD' on the Tvs Remote, as well as on the Remote of the Dish Tv reciever.
