Is the machine new to you? You generally have to swing the bobbin on the winder up or down or push/pull it in or out to make it engage and begin winding. If this is your long time machine then...who knows!

Bobbin refuses to be wound on self-winding bobbin machine. Bobbin does not turn. The thread is winding continously on the bottom of the bobbin basket. Need help.

Just off the top of my so-called head, it sounds like something in the bobbin area is not seated correctly. However, I would recommend that you do a search on FB and Yahoo interest groups (also on PSW software); it's members are MOST helpful, and will be glad to work with you to resolve this problem.

Singer golden touch and sew model 630

This series of machines was nicknamed "touch and swear" and "sew and throw", as well as other, less polite, names, because the bobbin winding system is so touchy. Try a couple of new bobbins, and if that doesn't work, consult the nice folks at the yahoo group "wefixit": https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/wefixit/info Most of the time, though, a new bobbin fixes this particular issue.

Along with pushing the circular button, make sure that you close the slide over your bobbin to the red line/dot on the right side.

I have a self winding bobbin on my singer model number 4663 and I don't know how to pick up my bobbin thread.

isn't this info in the manual? If you don't have one call singer and purchase one because it's not in the download area. And a search for the model 4663 brings up nothing.

Bobbin dont wind, a message said to clean the jam under plate

judging by your question I am guessing that your machine is a self wind bobbin because you have not said what model you have, un fortunately electronic or computerised machines sometimes have a mind of their own, locate the sensor near the winder and make sure that it clean.

My machine will not thread my bobbin...And I'm scared that this might be the last time i use my sewing machine.....It's either that or that my thread will not grab the bobbin thread

I could not find any information on this model, but if it is a self-winding horizontal bobbin where the bobbin remains in the bobbin case as it is being wound - it could need repair.

Re-check your manual to make sure every step is working to set-up for winding.

If it still does not work, call a machine repair professional for an estimate. It could just be the timing needs adjusted.

Singer 6267 self winding bobbin winds around shaft under

I just figured out why my bobbine was winding on shaft instead of on the bobbin. first of all make sure the bobbin is setting up high enough, top of bobbin needs to be a fraction higher then the bobbin shuttle, next check to make sure there are no burrs on the bobbin, then make sure that the thear is catching in the groove (**** in top) of the bobbin. In order to get mine to wind i had to lett the tread go down and then slip the thread in the groove. also remember to leave the pressure foot up do not put it down. let me know if this helps.

Bobbin filling on Singer 626

The Singer 626 has a self-winding bobbin. You place the empty bobbin in the bobbin thingie (sorry for being so untechnical). On the left of the bobbin you will see a "lever" with a circular top on it (I think it is red-ish) Again, sorry for being so untechnical. Press the "lever" down. Thread your machine, thread the needle, wrap the excess thread from the needle around the knob that tightens the needle and holds it in place and press your foot down on the foot pedal. The bobbin will automatically wind as you hold the foot pedal down. Do not wind the thread onto the bobbin past the outer white line.
