Question about Remington Polesaw Wizard

Broken clamp on Remington Pole Saw

I need the part #121560-01, but with Remington out of business, I have been unable to find it. MTD does not have it and neither do the parts distributors I have found. I suppose I could use a hose clamp, but that make adjustment and storage difficult. Any ideas? This is the clamp that locks the two poles together at a set height.

Am I wise to purchase a Remington Pole Saw or should look for another manufacturer? Which Remington Pole Saw would you purchase: a. 18V Cordless b. 10" Electric

Remington Saws have ceased operations and, unless you like to make your own replacement parts, they are prone to failure. The gearbox is sealed and the motor brushes are not available anywhere. Look elsewhere!

The clamp that secures the pole when extended is broken what is the part number?

There are a few web sites you can go to for parts. But, if all you need is a part number, I need the model and may need the serial numbers to find the correct part.

I have the sollution, had the same problem with the broken compression nut. Just use two hose clamps, one to hold the pole extended and the other clamps around compression base. Its a cheap easy fix and it work great fo me. The Real Mr.Fixit
