Typically the only reason that a printer beeps when printing is because you have the printer plugged into a UPS. None of the circuit boards on the 4350 have any sort of audio capability. Plug the printer right into the wall outlet.

Does it occur on any print job or one in particular. If it happens with one job, that job has a problem. It isn't the printer.
If it is all printing go the www.hp.com. then go to "support and drivers". Then select your printer, select your operating system, select firmware. Upgrade your firmware. Make sure that you read the instructions and DO NOT touch the printer while it is upgrading.
If the firmware upgrade completes and the errors continue, you will need to replace the formatter.

Print a CONFIGURATION Page. On the 1st sheet/right side near the bottom will be a list of the trays that the printer detects. If all the trays are there, then your print drivers need to be reloaded. If the CONFIG page doesn't see the extra trays, then the tray may have a bad connector. You might want to try a COLD RESET.

Sometimes the pickup roller are responsible for this,replace all the roller kit and lets know.

You can go to www.printerworks.com and do a search for a 4200 model to get a diagram. I'm not sure what you were doing but make sure the fuser unit is seated in properly(two blue latches on fuser unit snaps right into the frame).

1. Try downloading the vista compatible printer driver from the hp website.

2. If the above solution doesn't work try uninstalling the printer software and reinstalling it.

Most likely the fuser has lost part of the teflon from the heat roller. Having said that, the first step in any print quality issues is to change the toner cartridge. good luck!

Had the same problem with my HP 1100 printer. It was a faulty laser unit. Replaced the laser unit and the printer was fine.
