The internal memory on my Renoir is full, thus preventing me from e-mailing mostly, as well as other things....
When I check the memory manager i have 1% handset common memory free. 90K is taken up with 'others'. I've tried moving as much as possbile to external memory, but I cant find these 'other' files to delete / move and free up the internal memory.
Please help.
Thanks in advance

From the settings menu, choose phone settings, then Memory Manager.then handset common memory. Chances are, this will nearly all be used up. Move any pictures, video, music etc from the internal memory to the external memory card using the My Stuff application, then move to external memory. This should solve the problem & any new photos will be stored on the external card. When theinternal memory gets full, the Renoir does funny things!!
hi, i had this problem with two renoirs (i got so annoyed with the first one but liked the phone so i bought another!)
I tried everything to clear the common memory but nothing worked, until last night when I accidentally hit reset settings, in browser settings. It took ages and I thought it had frozen, but when it finished I had 69% memory free! I had to re-save my bookmarks but that was no big deal.
I tried it on the old phone and that worked too so might be worth a try....
Check your sent items and outbox folder to see if the you have any multimedia messages stored using up space...
If not then the image you are trying to send could be too large to send and save... Even though you have it set on Memory Card memory, the phone still uses its internal memory for things like the actual sending if you dont have enough space on the handset, it will show the message above
go into phone settings - memory manager - handset common memory and tap clear all. This worked for me i took my memory card out just to be on the safe side
I guessed at 0000 and it allowed me to format it.
Although bizarrely it was showing that it had 1.5GB free in the memory manager thingy, but wouldn't let the camera access it
Before you format it - it might be worth checking the "Primary Storage Setting" under Memory Manager and set it to external - it might be that the internal memory is full. Indeed - it might be that the web browser only uses internal memory for it's run-time uses, so you might need to make sure that there is some free space on the internal memory, full stop. (You can always move stuff to the external drive in the media album to make space if you don't want to delete things - beware though: If you've replaced the background picture on your main screen - this must live on the internal memory).
I had this problem with two Renoirs and finally managed to fix it yesterday after months and months!
I went into browser settings and hit reset settings. I took ages and I thought it had frozen but when it finally finished I had 69% free in common memory!
That worked on both my phones so might be worth a try.
Good luck
