2011 hyundai sonata passenger back door lock making odd sounds won't unlock I have to unlock it by hand 1

the cable in the window regulator is bindded up only way to fix it is to reploace the regulator.

Does the red light have a mark like the door s open r brake light or abs what r u can u post a pic of the red light I can help

Does it have anti-'theft?. If so, try this. with the key in hand close the doors. Put the key in door lock cylinder. Then lock the car. wait a few seconds (10-15) then unlock the car. Open door and try to start vehicle. You may have to do it 2-3 times. Lock-unlock sequence.

replace your actuators.

you have a bad relay.. the 'lock' relay.

dear friend-this is a tricky one but it works,roll the window down.remove the outside strip.push the widow aside and look inside for the door lock,take a piece of wire and make a hook on one,use the hook to unlock vehicle.

the door lock actuators failing are a very common problem on the NF sonatas.

Take the driver door panel off and look at the back side of the lock and see if the arm is attached sounds like it might have come off and is not locking the lock device anymore. thanks Jerry holler if you have more.

and inspect the internal works of the door

from drivers side remove the passenger seat
undo the door card as best without ripping it apart
if damage is possible source the same colour door card
