- Have changed message settings on phone to correspond with SIM card network but problem persists. Phone will only work with its own SIM card.

First you need to check the balance to send SMS.... if it is fine then you need to check the Message Center No # ... you can get the message center number from your Service provider... call up the customer care of your Service provider and ask them for the Message Center number.

Make sure the sim card in the phone is the same network as the phone software or it wont work, or reset the handset with the correct network messaging settings.
