The sugar goes into the contacts and permanently deamages the keyboard. NOT REPAIRABLE. The laptop keyboards are not very expensive. You will only get that problem solved by replacing the keyboard.

How do I unsplit the spacebar on a microsoft keyboard

I don't know why you would want to "un-split it" but, if I were to try such a thing without disassembling the keyboard, I would epoxy something thin and rigid - perhaps a piece of the long spacebar from an old keyboard - across the tops of the two keys. If I wanted to take the keyboard apart, I'd just epoxy a small piece of plastic between the two keys and, if space allowed, reinforce with a small screw being careful to maintain the original distance between the keys so they would still line up with their sensors. In both cases I would use epoxy rather than glue because the spacebar is a very heavily-used key and epoxy is MUCH stronger than glue. I hope this is helpful. Good luck!

Why does the space bar only have a centre touch point

The reason for this happening is that the metal bar under your spacebar is not properly attached. It's time consuming to properly fix it, but it's an easy fix at that.

All you need to do is remove your spacebar and metal bar (shaped somewhat like a tall C, if held sideways). On the bottom of the spacebar will be approximately 2-3 small clips in which the metal bar will snap into. Once snapped into place, you will want to look at the area where the spacebar goes. There should be two small clips at each end. With the metal bar clipped into the spacebar, you want to place the "ends" of the metal bar under the clips on the keyboard and very carefully place the spacebar into the hole on the keyboard and snap it into place. Now test it out and it should work fine. If not, it's likely that the metal bar came out from under the keyboard clips. The annoying part is snapping the spacebar into place without having the metal piece come out from under those clips, so you may need to perform this task a few times.

Its the small rubber bit under the space bar

ok you need to unclip the spacebar carefully take off the rubber and replace with one from another keyboard use rubber solution to bond it in place making sure that the center on the board and rubber pad are free from dirt or glue, a good place to dource the rubber pad from is old mobile phone keypads or old childs toys with rubber buttons one of those cut to size and glued to under side of spacebar would be perfect, hope this helps and good luck.

The far right and left ends of the spacebar do not work. In order to use the spacebar function, the direct middle of the button has to be pushed down.

You need to reposition (clip) the torssion bar under the spacebar key (a steel wire formed in a wide U shape), it is unhooked, call for a professionnal if you'r not sure how to do this as you may brake the plastic hinge if you don't know what you'r dooing...

I took my spacebar off to clean it and i dont know how to put it back on?

There is a rubber part that is designed to spring up when you release the space bar - this is the contacts that is the electrical push button. At each end the metal bar is hooked to the plastic (the long space bar key). There may be a couple springs found as well - they should seat on the base. Connect all pieces and place the space bar key over the area where it aligns to the keyboard and snap it place with a slight force.

The (key between the tab and the w) is stuck. It

Almost all laptop keys are attached to the keyboard via small plastic clips that keep the key from flying off the keyboard. They also generally have a small rubber piece that is pushing the key up. If that small rubber piece became damaged or loss the key would appear to be stuck since the rubber piece is not pushing the key back up.
If you feel comfortable doing it you can apply a small amount of force and pop the key off "Q" I believe in your case and check for damage.
I don't believe you can buy replacement parts for a single key, so you may have to replace the entire keyboard.

The two pieces of metal should snap into small slots on either side. Then you press it straight down so the plastic piece locks into the button on the membrane on the keyboard assembly. Good Luck

Ice dispenser won't stop dispensing

The rubber piece you put your container against , has a little plastic "trigger" attached . Usually they tend to stick . The dispensor has to be disasembled to replace the rubber actuator . Sometimes I've found using a small amount of white grease on the plastic piece fixes the problem without replacing the rubber pad .

Water does not drain from the bottom. I understand that a small amount is normal, however, this is not a small amount. Thanks for your help.

It worked for me .I have a danby countertop dishwasher.
I took off the metal top
I looked under on the left side to find the pump
I took both hoses off the pump and took off the little fan.
i took off the little metal bracket behing the little fan. and unscrewed the little pump to take it out.
the little metal piece that the fan was on wouldn't even move.So i sprayed it down with wd and it started moveing again then a screw fell out.so i found where it went(inside the motor which the fan and metal piece move) got the tweezers and replced it. oiled it some more and put it all back together. Perfect.
