Question about GE 30 in. JGP336 Gas Cooktop
Today since morning our JGP336's spark module is continuously on. the only way we are able to turn it off is to unplug it.
what do i do?
If you have recently cleaned it, you may have gotten moisture behind the knobs and into the spark switches. Be very careful not to let moisture get behind knobs. Very dangerous. If this is the case, they may dry out themselves and stop sparking. If not you may need to replace a spark switch behind knob.

I had the same problem of ignition clicking after the stove top had been cleaned. Took the knobs off the ignition switches, used a hair dryer in each hole for a few minutes, problem solved!!

I had the same problem and took it completely out and was about to go buy a new one. I then found this site and uncovered that my wife had just cleaned it real good with a wet soapy sponge. I put it back in and the clicking start back up.
I took a hair dryer and blew it constantly through the knob holes (keep it clean fellas). After about 5 minute the clicking was less and less. 2 minutes later all silent.
