SOURCE: Kenmore Oasis top load washer. Model # 110.27072602

The F1 error code on this washer indicates a Primary Control Board failure.

It is likely that the machine control board will need to be replaced to correct this problem.

The part number for the machine control board is undetermineable because you have not provided me with the exact model # of your washer.

The procedure for replacing the machine control board is provided HERE

LINK: http://media.fotki.com/1_p,wfgstgtftbtkrrdxgtqsskgwtqkq,vi/gfsfgfsgqxgfqtqtgwf/1/1303472/5961857/image55806img-or.gif

NOTE: Be sure to unplug the washer to disconnect electrical power before accessing internal components.

There is a slight possibility that a problem with the pressure switch hose could be causing this problem.

A pinched or twisted air hose can cause this fault code.

When you open the console, check the air hose connected to the pressure switch on the machine control board.

If it is pinched or crimped, I recommend rerouting the hose to resolve this problem.

This may fix your problem without replacing the control board.

NOTE: You may want to check for this condition before ordering the control board. Most electronic control boards cannot be returned for a refund or credit.

If you find no apparent problems with the air hose on the pressure switch, then replacing the machine control board on this washer should correct your problem. There is a risk involved in replacing this part yourself.

As noted above, you could have a problem with the air pressure hose that is not apparent upon your initial inspection. A service technician would normally need to properly and thoroughly diagnose this problem before replacing the control board.

Why won't my Crosley top load washer pass wash cycle?

There are several reasons why your Crosley top load washer might not be passing the wash cycle. Some common causes include:
  1. Power issues: Check to see if the washer is properly plugged in and the outlet has power.
  2. Water supply problems: Make sure the water supply valves are turned on and the hoses are not kinked or clogged.
  3. Load balance: The washer may not be able to advance to the next cycle if the load is unbalanced. Try redistributing the clothes evenly in the drum.
  4. Control panel issues: The control panel or the control board may be faulty and need to be replaced.
  5. Lid switch: If the lid switch is not functioning properly, the washer may not be able to advance to the next cycle.
  6. Clogged pump or drain: If the pump or drain is clogged, the water may not be able to be pumped out of the washer, causing it to stop mid-cycle.
If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own, it may be best to consult a professional for further assistance.

No matter what cycle I use the water is way too hot. Can't seem to cool down the water tempature

The hot and cold hoses may be connected incorrectly, giving you hot water rather than cold. If that's not the issue, your mixing valve may be bad and need replacement.

Will not start cycle

Sounds silly, but are the taps turned on? Also, make sure there are no kinks in the hoses. If this doesn't solve the issue, the inlet valve or the control circuit may be bad. If this is a new washer it may be covered by warranty.

What does F1 mean on the washer

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F1 in your Maytag Bravos indicates primary control failure, and this is a common issue with your Maytag washer. However, before replacing the control panel remove the three screws on the rear of the control panel and then blow some air with the help of hair dryer so to make sure everything is clear. If still the issue is not resolved then you’ll have to replace the control module. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Control panel won't function

This could be a Control Board failure. I would try to recycle 120VAC power to the washer. Leave it off of about 20 minutes then re-power up. If that doesn?t clear the issue then I believe your Control Board has failed. Do you have surge protection at the washer 120VAC outlet? Have you had any recent lighting storm activity? The Service Manual can be found on this site. The Control Board is under warranty for 5 yrs from date of purchase.

Oaisis top load washer

F68 indicates the water level pressure sensor has issues. It could be a blocked pressure hose... usually, the machine controller will have to be replaced.
