I had similar problem due to heating element furring up and shorting against side! New element fitted by engineer now OK - It also uses much more electricity with this problem. The old element looked like it was bent so could more easily have shirted out!

Have a Whirlpool Cabrio washer WTW6400SW3 went thru wash wash cycle, then started to drain water to go into rinse cycle. Half way thru draining, was a loud electrical pop in control area of washer and...

sounds like a shorted machine due to water or moister? In most case you had a fuse blow on the machine somewhat like a thermal shut off fuse, most likely located in the panel. if this is the case u need to find out what shorted it, how water or moister got in? You can also look at the control curcuit board and look for burned seized transistors or areas indicating a burned out board.

hello it's possible that the glass fuse may blown in the power supply inside the washer beware if you put another fuse in and it blows again the you have a dead short on the board someware also make sure you use the same rated fuse the value will be on the end of the fuse or on the fuse holder on the power board good luck

WASHER QUIT WORKING BEFORE RINSE CYCLE AN WILL NOT WORK ON ANY OTHER CYCLES AND IT DOES HAVE POWER GOING TO IT

It doesn't work at all If your washer doesn't seem to work at all, check these: No power Lid switch No power Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped? Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse

I have a Bosch Exxcel 1400 S Express which blew

There is no internal fuse in the washer to replace.
If you have replaced the fuse, make sure that is is a good one.
If you are satisfied that you have power to the washer, then I'm afraid it sounds quite serious.
Trust this helps.

Washing machine fuse blows every couple of washes

the machine is pulling to much power.check to see if it is on a 15 or 20 amp outlet. you said you replaced the fuse. the amp size should be on it. if it is a 15 amp fuse, plug the machine into a 20 amp circuit and see if the fuse blows then. it shouldn't since it wasn't blowing everytime on the 15 amp circuit, but never put a 20 amp fuse in a 15 amp socket! the fuse can handle the load[ no pun intended], but the electrical wire would burn not blowing the fuse, thus causing a fire.
hope this helps.
