HP VP6100 gone Dark

Hi,
I have a hewlett packard projector which has been working 100%.
I turned it on the other day and the picture was there but it was like the contrast had been turned off. I have adjusted all contrast, brightness and color to as bright as it can go, but it is still to dark.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My hp m3222 projector is not working with my laptop via USB cable

The USB connection only allows the projector's remote control to be used as a "mouse" to advance presentation slides on the PC and perform some other limited functions. The USB connection cannot be used to feed video or other signals to the projector. Refer to the operation manual here:

Power up computer...hear the windows jingle but the screen is grey

Try connecting an external monitor and see if that gives you video - if that works, your laptop screen may have gone bad and need replacing. If it does not work, check that you are not running in too dark a screen or the wrong mode. I dont know specifically which HP key code changes this but there should be pictures on your "F" keys to indicate this. Remember to push down the"Fn" key at the same time.

Black screen death

Press your F4 key, it has a picture that looks like a monitor on it. windows will then ask you if you want computer only, duplicate or projector only. You are probably in projector only mode, change it to computer only or duplicate if you have an external screen attached, that should turn on your display.

If it's not worn out or damaged. Try opening the touchpad software, Synaptic?, or in Control Panel, Mouse, and adjust settings. Perhaps a System Restore to a date before the issue.

My HP G72 laptop wont power on, even with a charged battery from another hp, The light wont come on when its plugged in.

Your motherboard has gone bad. The best thing to do is buy a new laptop. You can find a replacement motherboard online but after the cost of the part, shipping, and the pain of removing 100 screws, it just isn't worth it.

When i am plugged in the laptop is working. the battery shows fully 100% charged. but when i unplug it from the mains laptop only works for 5 minutes . WHY?

You have the same problem as me. Don't forget that batteries have their shelf life as well. After a few years laptop batteries become inefficient and are unable to store the full 100% capacity as storage sectors become obsolete. I had to go straight to the Producer and order a replacement battery for around 100 bucks.
