I am loading up a new Dell computer with Windows 7 Pro, I have the upgrade for Office 2007 ( that I purchased) but only have upgrades since office 95. How can I load Office 2007 upgrade on this new...

Is the disk-drive from the old computer attached as a "slave" disk-drive on the new computer?
If so, then the "upgrade" utility should find the "qualifying" files, and allow the "upgrade" to proceed.

Is Office 95 listed as a "qualifying" product for the Office 2007 upgrade?
If so, then insert the CD-ROM for Office 95 when running the Office 2007 installer.
Or, insert the CD-ROM for the Office 2000/XP/2003 upgrade when requested.

My emachine is slow loading and constantly buffin, not being able to watch movies on utube My final question is how do I know my computer needs to be upgrade other that the fact that the emachine is an...

Hello

Well, the buffering on you tube is purely proportional with the speed of the internet connection you have, it means that the video plays faster than that which your internet connection is able to load, thus it starts to buffer.

To solve this you need to upgrade your internet connecting, upgrading the performance of your computer itself will have no effect on the internet connection.

As for the upgrading of your desktop, if you are happy with the performance, you don't need to upgrade. Most common upgrade is ram modules, which makes loading programs and such faster.

I would say a good method of knowing it is time to upgrade is to have a look if the parts for your computer is still widely available, if so, and you are happy with the performance, don't upgrade. If the parts for your desktop is discontinued of not very widely available, i would say it is a good choice to upgrade. Hope this can help you.

Kind regards
Andrea

NEED A STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON UPGRADING

Upgrading the computer to the faster CPU, memory, hard disk, can be possible. First find out the motherboard supports higher CPU already , then find the right CPU for the upgrade,. Maximum memory that can be added in the comuter and type of memory supported by the motherboard. If you need more capacity for Hard disk get high capacity harddisk that the computer support. More important is make sure that the upgrade doesn't require to buy new operating system. Most upgrades are not cheper than purchasing new system considering all above needs. If you require to upgrade to more and latest system than it is better to buy a new system including operating system. The operating system may not support considerable difference in the computer system for upgrades.

Transferring upgraded software to new computer

unfortunately, it doesn't work like that. you have to install it on the new computer. Just dont forget to deactivate it if you plan on removing it from the old computer. if you have an upgrade then you just need to install cs4 upgrade and then it should ask you for the cs2 serial number.
