It shows this message.."some cartridges

Sound like the cartridge maybe the wrong type or part number, even though they may fit and snap on ok, or they are a bad run off from the production line, if the cartridges can be verified to be 100% good, then I would uninstall the printer from your computer and do a reinstall the drivers to your PC. If it still does the same thing Then your printer would most likely need service, also maybe able to call customer support for more help. Thanks Rick.

If you just finished refill your ink and this problem occur - the ink cartridge cannot be recognized, you shall take out both your ink cartridge and try to wipe the whole thing with a clean cloth and then carefully put in back. Hope it helps you. Good luck =)

What and how shall i start my CANON MX328 printer after getting 5200 problem ?

you have to remove the ink cartridges. Using a clean clothe moistened with alcohol, wipe the dirt at the surface contact of the cartridges. This contact is where the terminal inside the printer touches.

post back if this will not help you. I'll provide you with another solution.

My canon mp620 is offline. My at&t modem is working and my computer is online - my computer detects the printer but is offline

The users who are experiencing offline errors while using the Canon printers are suggested to check the connections, settings and printer hardware before proceeding any further. The connection to and from the printer shall be verified thoroughly by the users and any anomalies if found shall be fixed then and there. As these errors can also be caused by printer hardware issues, the users are suggested to check with different key components of the printer like the cartridges, feed tray and more and fix any issues if found. Restarting the printer and the computer after following the above mentioned procedure will help in solving and preventing the offline errors with your canon printer.

I'm trying to use refilled ink cartridges in my Canon MP530, but I get a V (or U) 130 error message. Any thoughts?

An ink tank that was once empty is installed.
Replace the ink tank.
Printing under the situation may damage the Print Head.
Canon shall not be liable for any machine malfunction or damage caused
by refilled ink tanks.
If you want to continue printing with the refilled ink tank installed, press
and hold the [Stop/Reset] for at least 5 seconds, and then release it. Using
refilled ink tanks are memorized.
* This operation will release the function for detecting the remaining ink

i am not sure but is working on 520
1. print mono or print color for color
  1. Switch the printer OFF
  2. Press buttons 1 + 2 + 3 and 4 (simultaneously using four fingers)
  3. Keep pressing this four buttons for 10 seconds
  4. Release the On/Off button (number 4) (Keeping pressing the others)
  5. After a few seconds (when the printer go ON) you can release buttons 1, 2, 3
  1. Maybe step "c)" is not needed
  2. This procedure was used when I refilled the Black cartridge - try using the ColorCopy button instead of BlackCopy button (number 1) if you refill Color cartridge.
  3. Maybe there is no need for all the four buttons - you can try 1 + 4, 2 + 4 or 3 + 4. (or 1+2+4, 1+3+4, 2+3+4)

I OWN A CANON BJ-10sx printer. It works fine.

Please go to

Search for the compatible cartridge for your printer. That particular printer is so old that the cartridge design more than likely changed.

We have a Pixma MP160 and an MP150 all-in-one printer. We have been using re-cycled cartridges without any problems. Both our printers have just stopped working with 'cartridges not recognised'. When...

Maybe try cleaning the contacts in the cartridge head to ensure no ink has attached to the pins. Use a cotton bud or something similar and ensure the printer is turned off.

Remanufactured cartridges can eventually fail so you may have a duff cartridge if the above doesnt work.
